Sweekaar Academy of Rehabilitation Sciences (SARS) invites eligible candidates for admission in following programs for the academic year 2020-2021

Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Computer Sciences, Statistics, Elctronics & Psychology. 

Age: Candidate should have completed17 years at time of admission

In case of SC/ST candidates, there is some relaxation as per Govt. rules. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance examination and followed by counseling /interview conducted as per the rules and regulations of Osmania University.

Master of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (MASLP) (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate who have passed three years B.Sc ( ASLP ) Degree or B.Sc ( HLS ) or B.Sc ( AST)( with one year internship / 6 months internship examination of Osmania University or an examination of any other university consideredas equivalent are eligible for admission.

The candidate should have an average of50% to appear for the entrance Exam.

In caseof SC / ST candidates, eligibility will be relaxedup to 5%.

Age: No upper age limit.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance examination and followed by counseling /interview conducted as per the rules and regulations of Osmania University.

BE.Ed. Spl. Education (1 year)

Specialization:

• Hearing Impaired
• Mental Retardation

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed B.A /B.Sc. or any equivalent degree at graduate leve with minimum 45%.

No Age limit (Preference will begiven to those below 35 years of age).

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance examination and followed bycounseling /Interview conducted as per the rules and regulations of Osmania University.

M.Ed. Spl. Education (1 year)

Specialization:

• Mental Retardation
• Hearing impaired

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed B.Ed (Spl Edn)from recognized University with minimum 50% marks.

No Age limit( Preference will begiven to those below 35 years of age ).

Selection Process:  Valid Score in Entrance Examination and followed by counseling /Interview conductedas per the rules and regulations of Osmania University.

PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (PGDRP) (1 year)

Eligibility: All Graduates and Post graduates in psychology will be eligible for direct enrollment.

Selection Process: Direct.  

Diploma program (1 year)

Specialization:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education (DECSE)
• Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS)
• Diploma in Spl. Education (Specialization: Deaf & Hearing Handicapped, Autism Spectrum Disorder)
• Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP)

Eligibility:  

Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education:  Pass 10+2,  there is no age limt (Preference will begiven to those below 35 years of age).

Selection Process: Merit & Interview/Counseling. 

Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS): Minimum qualification 10+2  or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biological Scienceswith pass mark. 

Age: Candidate should have completed17 years. No upper age limit. 

Selection Process: Merit & Counseling /Interview. 

Diploma in Spl. Education: Pass 10+2,  there is no age limit for the course. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in All India Online Entrance Exam.

Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP):  Candidate should have passed M.A / M.Sc. in Psychology (or in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Applied Psychology) from a university recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 55% in aggregate.

For SC/ST/OBC category, a minimum of 50% in aggregate is essential, as per GOI. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in entrance examination.

M.Phil (1 year)

Specialization:

• Clinical Psychology
• Rehabilitation Psychology 

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Master's Degree in Art/Science from recognised board/ university. 

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55% marks in aggregate, preferably with specialpaper in clinical psychology. 

For SC / ST / OBC category, minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is essential, as per GOI. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Rs. 700 +700=Rs. 1400/- SC/ST/PWD

PG Courses 

Rs. 1000 +800 = Rs. 1800/- Gen/OBC/BC
