Central University of Odisha (CUO) offers admission in the following programs for the academic year 2024-2025
B.Sc. + M.Sc. Integrated in Mathematics (5 year)
Eligibility: Candidate who have passed 10+2 exam in Science with Mathematics and Statistics as asubject at 10+2 level from a recognized board.
Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.
5% relaxation will be given to SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
Maximum age limit: 21 years on 01-07 of the admission year.
Selection Process: Marks obtained in previous qualifying exam.
Fees: Rs. 1,200/- Per Semester
Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor’sDegree (Science/ Arts)and/or Master’s Degree (Science/Arts) in Engineering or Technology with pecialisation in Science and Mathematics.
Minimum mark shall be obtained 50%.
A relaxation of (5% of marks will be given to SC/ ST/ PwD candidates).
Maximum age limit: NoAge Limit.
Selection Process: Marks obtained in previous qualifying exam.
Fees: Rs. 1,200/- Per Semester
BCA (3 year)
Eligibility: Candidate who have passed 10+2 exam in Science/ Arts/ Commercewith Mathematics as asubject at 10+2 level froma recognized board.
Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.
5% relaxationwill be given to SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
Maximum age limit: 21 years on 01-07 of the admission year.
Selection Process: Marks obtained in previous qualifying exam.
Fees: Rs. 1,200/- Per Semester
M.Sc. in Anthropology (2 year)
Eligibility: Candidate should be a Graduate in Science/Art from a recognized university / institution.
Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.
5% relaxation will begiven to SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
Maximum age limit: 30years on 01 July of admission year.
Maximum age limit: 21years on 01-07 of the admission year.
Fees: Rs. 500/-Per Semester
M.Sc. in Statistics (2 year)
Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics/ Statistics as a subject from a recognized university/ institution.
Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.
5% relaxation will begiven to SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
Maximum age limit: 21 years on 01-07 of the admission year.
Fees: Rs. 500/-Per Semester
M.Sc. in Mathematics (2 year)
Eligibility: Candidate holding B.Sc. Degree in Science from recognised board with Mathematics and Physics as subjects securing minimum 50%in aggregate and 55% inMathematics.
5%relaxation will be givento SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
Maximum age limit: 21years on 01-07 of the admission year.
Selection Process for all above stream: Marks obtained in previous qualifying exam.
Fees: Rs. 500/-Per Semester
MBA (2 year)
Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree from recognised university/ institute.
Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.
In case of SC/ ST/ PWD candidates, minimum marks shall be obtained 45%.
Selection Process: Marks obtained in previous qualifying exam.
Fees: Rs. 1,200/- Per Semester
M.A (2 year)
Specialization:
Eligibility: Candidate should be a Graduate with relevant subject at graduation from recognised university/ institute.
5% relaxation will begiven to SC/ ST/PwD candidates.
Minimum marks shall be obtained 45%.
Maximum age limit: 30 years on 01-07 of the admission year.
Selection Process: Marks obtained in previous qualifying exam.
Fees: Rs. 450/- Per Seemster
Ph.D (3 year)
Specialization:
Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Master's Degree from recognised university/ institute.
Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.
5% relaxation will be given to OBC (Non-Creamylayers/SC/ ST/ PwD candidates and for those who had obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19 September 1991).
Selection Process: Valid Score in UGC-NET/ UGC-CSIR NET/ SLET/ GATE/ M.Phil./or, any other national level fellowship test qualified.
Central University of Odisha (CUO) Admission Process 2024
Applicant must read the prospectus carefully before application.
Registration of the applicant will be done using email-id and a mobile no. Applicant should Not change this email-id and mobile no till the admission is over.
Name and other details entered by the applicant need to be the same as in the Class 10th/ 10+2 board mark sheet.
Instruction for Uploading Image/Photo:
All scanned document should be in jpg or .jpeg image format.
File size of digital photo & Signature must be within 10kb to 1MB limit and other.
Document/Certificate/Mark sheet size must be within 10kb to 3MB limit.
Steps to be followed
Interested candidate should visit official website of the institute to register first.
Click on ‘New Registration’ button and fill up the basic information to register at the page ‘Registration for Admission’.
After Registration, applicant can Login to the admission portal using registered email as user id and password.
Fill up your Profile Detail:
It includes all the personal details including the category, place of birth details, family details, address details, etc.
Choose the program you want to apply. Please fill up all the personal Details, Academic Details, Other Details and upload the required documents. Pay the application fee online. Applicant should readthe prospectus carefully about the eligibility of the program.
If you want to apply for more than one program. Repeat the above step 5 only and step 1-4 will not be repeated. You need to pay another application fee. Applicant should not apply more than 3(three)program.

An applicant can further apply upto Seven Test Papers by paying additional application fees of Rs. 500/- (Generalapplicants) or Rs. 400/- (OBC-NCL/ Gen-EWS/ SC/ ST/ Third Gender/ PwBD Applicants) per Test Paper for PG Programs.
Note: An applicant can make payment through net-banking/debit/credit card/ UPI/ Wallet.
GST and other taxes as applicable by Govt. of India/ Bank to be paid by the candidate.
