Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University (JRSU) offers following programs for the academic year 2024-2025

BBA (3 year)

Seats: 30

Specialization:

• Security Management  

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Applicant shall not be more than 21 years of age on the date of admission; a relaxation of 2 years shall be given to the candidates belonging to OBC, ST, SC category and female candidates.

Selection Process: Admission shall be on merit basis on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Fees: Rs. 15,000/- Per Year

B.Sc.  (Hons) (3 year)

Seats: 50 each stream

Specialization:

• Forensic Science
• Computer Application and Cyber Security

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Applicant shall not be more than 21 years of age on the date of admission; a relaxation of 2 years shall be given to the candidates belonging to OBC, ST, SC category and female candidates.

Selection Process: Admission shall be on merit basis on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Fees: Rs. 16,500/- Per Year

M.A (2 year)

Seats: 20 

Specialization:

• Criminology

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Admission shall be on merit basis on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Fees: Rs. 22,000/- Per Year 

M.Sc. (2 year)

Seats: 20 each stream

Specialization:

• Forensic Science
• Criminology

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology or Forensic Science from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Admission shall be on merit basis on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Fees: Rs. 22,000/- Per Year

Post Graduate Diploma Programs (1 year)

Seats: 40 each stream

Specialization:

• Industrial Security 
• Disaster Management

Eligibility: Candidate should be a Graduate from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Applicant shall not be more than 27 years of age on the date of admission; a relaxation of 2 years shall be given to the candidates belonging to OBC, ST, SC category and female candidates.However there will be no age limit for sponsored candidates.

Selection Process: Admission shall be on merit basis on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Fees: Rs. 30,000/- Per Year

Diploma in Police Science (1 year)

Seats: 30

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Applicant shall not be more than 27 years of age on the date of admission; a relaxation of 2 years shall be given to the candidates belonging to OBC, ST, SC category and female candidates.However there will be no age limit for sponsored candidates.

Fees: Rs. 21,000/- Per Year

Certificate Course in Police Science (1 year)

Seats: 40

Eligibility: Candidate should poass 10th from recognised board. 

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Applicant shall not be more than 21 years of age on the date of admission; a relaxation of 2 years shall be given to the candidates belonging to OBC, ST, SC category and female candidates. 

Candidates sponsored by Govt. of Jharkhand are eligible to apply for this course.

Selection Process: Admission shall be on merit basis on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Attach Demand Draft of Rs. 200/-  as an application fee drawn in favour of 'Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University, Ranchi' payable at Ranchi, Jharkhad (mention DD number banck of the application form).

Attach self attested photocopy of the following documents with the filled application form: 

• Aadhar card
• 10th marksheet
• 10+2th marksheet
• Graduation marksheet (if asked)
• Caste and Income certificate (if asked)

Dully filled application form along with the above mentioned documents should be sent through speed post before last date.

Candidate may visit admission office of the college to collect the application form and prospectus on payment of Rs. 200/-.
