Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or possess an equivalent qualification from recognized board.

Selection Process: The admission to the B.Tech. course is through the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced followed by JoSAA counselling.

The seat allotment is done based on the candidate’s preference for college and IIT Dhanbad cutoff.

Candidates who have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 75% aggregate (65% aggregate for SC/ ST) are eligible to apply for B.Tech.

B.Tech Admission Process

All the eligible candidates have to first register at Joint Seat Allocation Authority  (JoSSA) to participate in the seat allocation process. There is total seven rounds of JoSSA Counselling. 

In each round candidates have to go through document verification and acceptance/withdrawal of seat. After the seat confirmation, candidate may download provisional allotment letter fee for IIT Dhanbad admission.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree with out roundoff taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined,  should be secured at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/ OBC (NCL) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ ST and PwD category candidates.

For Candidates with letter grades/ CGPA (instead of percentage of marks), the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the Admitting Institute(s).

Selection Process: Valid score in JAM exam and counselling.

M.Sc. (2 year)

JAM 2022 Examination will be conducted ONLINE only as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for all Test Papers.

All the seven Test Papers of JAM 2022 will be of fully objective type, with three different patterns of questions, namely

(i) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs),

(ii) Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and

(iii) Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

Applications for JAM 2022 examination will be accepted ONLINE only during August 30- October 11, 2021 through link available on JAM 2022 website.

Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 55% marks / 5.5 (on a 10 point scale) in B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Sc. or equivalent in appropriate branches (50% marks for SC /ST) from a recognized university.

The eligibility criteria mentioned above is minimum and the disciplines may use higher cut-off levels for shortlisting.

Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PD categories would be eligible for relaxations, as per norms, in the selection criteria.

COAP Important Dates 2022

MBA Business Analytics (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should be a Graduates (or professional qualification equivalent to that of a University degree recognized by the UGC) in any discipline with minimum having 60% marks or CGPA of 6.0 out of 10 (55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 for SC/ST/PwD [Differently Abled Categories]) in their Degree from a recognized university with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects in Bachelors Degree.

Final year students are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they meet all the requirements for the qualifying degree before start of the program and will produce provisional certificate of completion of the program latest by October 31, 2022.

Shortlist for interview process will be announced by the respective institute. Only those who are shortlisted will be invited to the interview process (the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview). Shortlisted applicants will be contacted to upload copies of necessary certificates by the respective institute.

All applicants should have a valid CAT-2021 score.

The students who have B.Tech degree from IIT with 8.0 CGPA out of 10 are exempted from appearing in the CAT.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Master's Degree in relevant stream.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 60%.

The medium of instruction, publication of research paper and reporting will be in English. Therefore,the scholars are required to possess adequate knowledge of English.

Age: Age limit for various categories as on the last date of online application are:

For General Male Candidate : 30 years

Others (Women, OB, PC, SC & ST) : 35 years

Age relaxation as above will be allowed for candidates with valid documents.

The original documents will be scrutinized prior to the interview and if found incorrect/ insufficient the candidature will be cancelled. Physically Challenged (PC) / colour blind candidate.

The candidates having valid score in CSIR, UGC, DST, are eligible for Ph.D. program.

Gender: Female candidates are not eligible for admission in Mining Engineering and Mining Machinery Engineering disciplines.

A candidate, who has qualified GATE/ NET/ DST-Inspire/ Prime Ministers Research Fellowship(PMRF)/Appropriate National Level Examination, is eligible for Ph.D. admission only inEngineering, Science, Management Studies and Humanities & Social Sciences.

In the case ofcandidates who apply with GATE score, the validity of GATE score is not an essential criteria.

Acandidate who has qualified CAT/GMAT is eligible for Ph.D. in Management.

Candidates in the final year of the qualifying degree may be considered for provisional admission.

IIT-ISM Ph.D Admission Process

Interested candidates should register their name using valid email id and phone number and submit their application online before due date.

Application fee of Rs. 2,000/- (Rs. 1,000/- for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Female candidates) for the Ph.D. selection is to be paid online, by the available mode of payment supported.

The candidates will be guided through the application process during registration and online application.

It is advised to read the on-screen instructions very carefully while filling online application.

The candidates are advised to give correct information.
