Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MBA in Indian Institute of Technology - Indian School of Mines Candidate should be a Graduates (or professional qualification equivalent to that of a University degree recognized by the UGC) in any discipline with minimum having 60% marks or CGPA of 6.0 out of 10 (55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 for SC /ST/ PwD [Differently Abled Categories]) in their Degree from a recognized university with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects in Bachelors Degree. Final year students are also eligible to apply. Shortlist for interview process will be announced by the respective institute. Only those who are shortlisted will be invited to the interview process (the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview). Shortlisted applicants will be contacted to upload copies of necessary certificates by the respective institute. All applicants should have a valid CAT-2021 score. The students who have B.Tech degree from IIT with 8.0 CGPA out of 10 are exempted from appearing in the CAT. Selection Process: a. Personal Interview (40 %) b. CAT Score (40 %) c. Admission Procedure IIT IMS 2021
Application fee of Rs. 2,000/-(Rs. 1,000/-for SC/ST and PD candidates) shall be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines and payable at Dhanbad, and should be submitted along with a print out of the filled-in online application form and necessary documents to Deputy Registrar (Exam & Academic),
Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad–828206, Jharkhand.Note: The institute will not issue any letter to any candidate regarding attending GD/PI as well as selection to the Program. The candidates must consult institute’s website regularly in this regard or for any updates, if any.
