Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MSc (Tech) in Indian Institute of Technology - Indian School of Mines Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree with out roundoff taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined, should be secured at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/ OBC (NCL) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ ST and PwD category candidates. For Candidates with letter grades/ CGPA (instead of percentage of marks), the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the Admitting Institute(s). Selection Process: Valid score in JAM exam and counselling. |

Admission Procedure IIT IMS 2021
Application fee of Rs. 2,000/-(Rs. 1,000/-for SC/ST and PD candidates) shall be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines and payable at Dhanbad, and should be submitted along with a print out of the filled-in online application form and necessary documents to Deputy Registrar (Exam & Academic),
Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad–828206, Jharkhand.Note: The institute will not issue any letter to any candidate regarding attending GD/PI as well as selection to the Program. The candidates must consult institute’s website regularly in this regard or for any updates, if any.
