Karnataka State Open University  (KSOU) offers admission to 2-year PG program for the academic year 2023-2024

M.A. Urdu (2 year)

Eligibility:  Candidates who is holding three years B.A. /B.Sc./ Degree of any recognized university offering URDU as a major/optional subject at the Degree level or an examination of any University considered equivalent thereto

Or

Candidates, who is holding three years B.A/B.Sc./B.Com Degree offering Urdu as second Language or as a minor subject at the Degree level, provided they have obtained not less than 50% of the maximum marks in the above language / subject

Or

Candidates who have passed Adibe-e-Kamil, Fazil-e-Urdu, Fazil course Urdu, Munshi course, Adib-e-Fazil, Alimiath course etc., are recognised as equivalent to degree course and they are eligible to seek admission to Urdu post-graduation degree program.

iii. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree with less than 50% / 45% (SC/ ST/ CAT-I) of Marks, they should enclose 3 years work experience certificate at supervisory / managerial / professional level. (Such candidates should have completed.

Master of Science (M.Sc.) (2 year)

Eligibility: Biochemistry: All Biological Science Graduates and other Bachelor’s Degree holders who have studied Science stream with Biological science as one of the subjects at Degree level,

Or

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, B.E / B.Tech Graduates in Biological Sciences.

Biotechnology: All Biological Science Graduates/ Allied Science Graduates, and otherdegree holders who have studied science stream with biological sciences asone of the subjects at Degree level.

B.E / B.Tech. Graduates in Biological Sciences.  

Information Science & Management: Graduates in BCA / B.Sc (IT / CS) / AMIE / BE / B.TechCS/IS/Electronics) or any other related courses/subjects, OR

B.Sc Graduates with Mathematics as one of the major subjects,

Or

Graduates in any discipline along with PGDIS (Post Graduate Diploma inInformation Science).

Master of Library and Information Science (MLisc) (1 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a B.Lib.I.Sc., Degree of this university or any other university, considered as equivalent.

1. The qualified candidates can seek admission with the fee paid challan (University Copy) along with all the necessary documents within the last date at the head quarters( Management Department) / Regional Center.

02. Candidates, shall submit the following to the Admission section, KSOU, Mysuru / KSOU Regional Centres (Error! Reference source not found.) for list of Regional centres.

1. Two (2) Copies of the On-line Application

2. S.S.L.C Marks Card.

3. P.U.C. or its equivalent Marks cards.

4. Degree marks Cards.

5. SC/ST/Cat-I Caste and Income certificates; (if applicable)

6. BPL card in case of women candidates

7. Income certificate; (if applicable)

8. Aadhaar Card;

9. Three stamp size photos

A printout of the duly filled online application along with the fee paid details,and other documents shall be submitted within the last date to theHeadquarters or Regional Centers selected by the students
