Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGPP) offers following program for the academic year 2023-2024

B.A (Hons) (3 year)

Specialization:

  • Economics
  • Social Science & Policy with BA (Hons.) Public Policy)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam in from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 60%.

Students completing 10+2 in the admission year can also apply.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through a holistic admissions process conducted over three rounds based on a persona statement, supplemental application, Class 10 and 12 marks, faculty interview, and at par JSAT/ SAT/ ACT score.

Fees: Rs. 3,50,000/- Per Year


 

M.A. in Economics (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or any another Social Science subject; or Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Commerce, Business and Engineering.

Selection Process: Applicants are selected through a holistic admission process conducted over two rounds based on online Public Policy Entrance Test (PPET), followed by a personal interview–face to face or Skype. Students completing their Bachelor’s Degree in the current year can also apply.

Fees: Rs.  2,50,000/- Per Year


 

M.A. in Public Policy (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree from recognised university/ institute.

Selection Process: Applicants are selected through a holistic admission process conducted over two rounds based on online Public Policy Entrance Test (PPET),  followed by a personal interview–face to face or Skype. Students completing their Bachelor’s Degree in the current year can also apply.

Fees: Rs.  2,50,000/- Per Year


 

Ph.D (3 year)

  • Public Health
  • Law and institutions
  • Governance and Public Institutions
  • Mechanism Design and Auctions
  • Banking and Monetary policy
  • Rural Studies
  • Industrial Economics, Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Gender Studies
  • Program Evaluation

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Master's Degree in a discipline in relevant stream from recognised university/institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

Applicants with more than 3 years of industry / teaching / practicing/ managerial / professional experience will be given preference.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Research Aptitude Test.

Fees: Rs. 1,00,000/- Total


 

Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGPP) Admission Process 2023

Round 1 - Application Assessment

Visit official website of the institute and register first with valid email address.

Your login details will be sent to this email account after due verification. All relevant information will be communicated to the applicant at this registered email address. 

Please keep scanned copies of the following documents handy for uploading. 

  • Class X Board Scores or Equivalent and Class XII Board Scores or Equivalent (if completed)
  • Personal Statement/ Essay
  • Supplementary Application
  • Passport Size Photograph
  • Competitive exam score 

Round 2 - Faculty Interview

Applicants who have advanced to Round 2 will have to follow the below-mentioned steps: 

Applicants will be interviewed by a JSIA faculty member. 

They are evaluated based on their communication skills, confidence, curiosity, clarity of expression, and nuanced thinking.

If the applicant has not appeared for the exams SAT, ACT then they will be required to complete the JSAT Examination.

Round 3 - Result Declaration

Applicants will be notified if they have ‘Advanced to Round 2’, have been ‘Rejected’, or ‘Placed on the Waitlist’. Applicants who have advanced to Round 3 will receive a ‘Provisional Offer of Admission’.

Successful applicants will have to accept or decline the offer. If an applicant does not respond, their application is dormant.

Successful applicants are required to pay the registration fee of Rs. 1,15,000/- to secure a seat.

Once the applicants’ class XII Boards results meet the required benchmarks, applicants will receive their ‘Final Offer of admissions’.

Applicants who would like to apply for scholarship should submit their documentation for consideration before June  of the admission year 

Refundable as per UGC guidelines.
