CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

B.E (4 year)

 Secialization:

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidate belonging to OBC/ SC/ ST/PH Candidates belonging to Karnataka only) in the above subjects.

Selection Process: Student should have undertaken any ONE of the following entrance tests:

Common Entrance Test –CET (offered by The Karnataka Government)

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental, Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test – COMEDK UGET (offered by group of private colleges in Karnataka for non-Karnataka students).

Joint Entrance Examination – JEE (offered by CBSE).

CMR University Admission Test – CMRUAT  (offered by CMR University).

Unigauge Entrance Test.

Any other equivalent national level entrance test.

Fees:

Computer Science and Engineering: Rs. 3,25,000/- First Year

IT: Rs. 3,25,000/- First Year

Electronics and communication Engineering: Rs. 2,50,000/- First Year

Civil Engineering: Rs. 3,25,000/- First Year

Mechanical Engineering: Rs. 3,25,000/- First Year

Electronics and Electrical Engineering: Rs. 2,50,000/- First Year 

MBA (2 year)

Specialization:

• Marketing & Finance

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in any subject from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50% in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST candidates belonging to Karnataka only).

Selection Process: Candidates must have taken one of the following examinations in order to qualify: 

• Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET)
• Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT)
• Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)
• Common Admission Test (CAT)
• Management Aptitude Test (MAT)

Fees: Rs. 3,00,000/- First Year

MCA (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in any subject from recognised university/ institute with one subject Mathematics among Business, Statistics and Computer Science.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50% (45% for SC/ ST Candidates belonging to Karnataka only).

Selection Process:  Valid Score in Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET).

Fees: Rs. 1,80,000/- First Year

M.Tech (2 year)

Specialization:

• Computer Science & Engineering
• VLSI Design & Embedded Systems

Eligibility:

M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering: Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Science & Engineering or equivalent degree; AMIE in appropriate branch from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

45% for SC/ ST candidates belonging to Karnataka only.

Selection Process: Valid Score in PGCET or GATE.

Fees: Rs. 1,00,000/- First Year

M.Tech. VLSI Design & Embedded Systems: Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation Technology / Telecommunication Engineering / Electrical & Electronics / Bio-Medical Engineering / Medical Electronics or equivalent Degree; AMIE in appropriate branch from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

45% for SC/ ST candidates belonging to Karnataka only.

Selection Process: Valid Score in PGCET or GATE.

Fees: Rs. 1,00,000/- First Year

Ph.D (3 year)

Specialization:

• Business Administration
• Computer Applications
• Sciences

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Master's Degree from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 60% marks.

Minimum 55% marks for the candidates belonging to the reserved category of Karnataka only.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR NET (JRF), SET/SLET, GATE or any other examination considered equivalent by AIU.

A relaxation of 5% marks will be allowed in the entrance examination for the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC /differently-abled category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Committee from time to time.

Weightage:

• 70% Entrance test
• 30% Performance in the interview/ viva-voce shall be given. 

CMRIT: CMRUAT Process 2023

Interested candidates should be registered for CMRUAT 2023.

Provide basic details and valid email and Mobile Number for registration.

CMRU will send an USER ID and Password which shall be used for completing the registration process.

Venue for Offline test:

Candidate will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 800/- (Rupees Eight hundred only) for writing the test.

The payment shall be made online while registering for the test.

Candidates will be instructed by email & through SMS, three days before the chosen test date to print the admission hall ticket online for  appearing in the test.
