Bodoland University (BU): offers following PG programs  for the academic year 2023-2024

M.Sc. (2 year)

Specialization:

• Computer Science and Information Technology
• Biotechnology

Eligibility: 

M.Sc. in Computer Science and Information Technology:  Candidate should hold B.Sc. Degree in concern subject.

a) BCA/B.Sc. in IT with Mathematics in 10+2 level

b) B.Sc. regular  with Computer Science / Information Technology as a pass course / elective subject.

c) B.Sc. regular with General Pass course with one year Computer Diploma (Post-Graduate) from recognized institute and Mathematical Sciences in 10+2 level.

d) B.E/ B.Tech (CSE or IT) may also apply for the course

Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks.

In case of SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation will be applicable.

 The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

Fees: Rs. 25,865/- Per Year

M.Sc. in Biotechnology :  a) Candidate should be Science Graduate having Honours in any of the Biological Sciences with minimum 50% marks or equivalent Grade.

b) Pass course students with minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade having at least one biological subject in their course combination.

Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks.

In case of SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation will be applicable.

The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

Fees: Rs. 25,865/- Per Year

M.A (2 year)

Eligibility:   Pass exam of B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com (10+2+3 pattern) with major/ honours course in the concerned subject with 50% marks.

Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks.

In case of SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation will be applicable.

The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

Fees: Rs. 9,840/- Per Year

M.Com (2 year)

Eligibility:  Pass exam of B.A/ B.Sc. /B.Com in regular pattern with  major/ honours course in the concerned subject with 50% marks.

Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks.

In case of SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation will be applicable.

The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

Fees: Rs. 11,215/- Per Year

MBA (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Bachelor's Degree of regular pattern with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate or in Major/Honours subject (if any) from any recognized University.

Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks.

In case of SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation will be applicable.

The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

MCA (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidates having BCA / B.Sc. / B.Com / B.A with mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level obtained at least 50% marks.

Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks.

In case of SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation will be applicable.

The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

B.Ed (2 year)

Eligibility:  Candidate should be a Graduate or equivalent from any recognized university with at least 50% mark in aggregate.

In case of an applicant failed to secure 50% in UG course, then candidates must secure 55% in PG course.

Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks.

In case of SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation will be applicable.

The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

Teachers deputed by the Govt. of Assam for the course must submit study leave certificate / No Objection Certificate from their concern employers along with the application.

M.Ed (2 year)

Eligibility:  Candidate should hold Degree of B.Ed / B.T. of  recognised university with minimum 55% marks in aggregate as per latest NCTE norms.

Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks.

In case of SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation will be applicable.

The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

Teachers deputed by the Govt. of Assam for the course must submit study leave certificate / No Objection Certificate from their concern employers along with the application.

PGDHRE (1 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should be a Graduate in any discipline with 45% marks or equivalent grade.

Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks.

In case of SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation will be applicable.

The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

Certificate course in Bodo

Eligibility: Candidate should be a  Graduate in any discipline with 45% marks or equivalent grade.

Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks.

In case of SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation will be applicable.

The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

Fees: Rs. 3,780/-

M.Phil (1 year)

Eligibility: Hold Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent Grade.

In case of SC/ST candidates minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

Selection Process: Candidate should pass Entrance Exam to get admission.

Seats:

80% Seats will be reserved for the students of affiliated colleges of Bodoland University

20% Open for admission on merit basis to the students of all recognised university including Bodoland University.

Ph.D (3 year)

Eligibility: Hold Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent Grade.

In case of SC/ST candidates minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

Selection Process: Candidate should pass Entrance Exam to get admission.

Students appearing in final semester examination (UG/B.Ed) are also eligible to apply in respective courses; except certificate and diploma courses.

For applying in different courses, candidates have to submit separate application forms.
