Selection Process
MRSPTU 85% the total seats in each course are open for candidates belonging to Punjab while remaining- 15 % seats are open for candidates of other states.
UG courses:
Admission to the BTech course is based on JEE Main score followed by an institute-level counselling.
B.Arch admission is based on NATA score.
Admission to remaining UG programs is based on aggregate obtained by a candidate in standard 10+.
PG courses:
For M.Tech program, candidates need to secure valid GATE score.
Admission to MBA program is based on candidate’s performance in CMAT.
For M.Pharm program, candidate’ s GPAT score will be considered.
Research program
For admission to the Ph.D program is based on score obtained in entrance exam.

Visit the official website of MRSPT University.
On its homepage, your will see “Registration 2023-24’ section. Click on ‘New Registration’.
Complete the registration process by providing basic details including your name, guardian details, date of birth, mobile number, address of communication, Aadhaar card number and gender.
Submit.
Application number and password will be sent to your registered mobile number, which you cand use when log in to your account.
Fill application form.
Upload all academic certificate.
Upload your recent passport-size photograph in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format (up to 50 kb).
Pay an application fee of Rs. 2000/- through debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
List of required documents to be submitted along with application form:
1. Class 10 and Class 12-mark sheet.
2. UG mark sheets.
3. PG mark sheets.
4. Passport-size photograph.
5. Date of birth certificate (10th stand marks sheet).
6. Transfer certificate.
7. Character certificate.
8. Caste/ Category certificate issued from competent authority (if applicable).
9. Income certificate (if applicable).
Ph.D Admission Process
Candidates who wish to apply for Ph.D course, should visit official website of the university to apply online.
Candidate can Download Application Form.
Separate application form should be used for each department/ discipline if applying for more than one department.
Enclose self attested copies of all relevant certificates.
Dully filled application form must reach to the following address through registered pot/ by hand before lat date.

1. Qualifying Degree Certificate (QDC) OR Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC).
2. In the cases, where, the QDC has not been issued or Convocation of the Univ./ Inst. has not been held on this date, PDC MUST be submitted for confirming the admission. However, QDC is a MUST. Students must submit the QDC as soon as it is issued by the Univ./ Institute.
3. Detail Mark-sheet (All Semesters) and Degree/ certificate for all educational qualifications (UG/ PG/ Matric).
4. Date of Birth Certificate /10th class leaving certificate.
5. Qualifying Exam certificate or (GATE/ GPAT/ NET/ CSIR/ UGC/ MPhill or any other) - (in Original).
6. PET result cad of MRSPTU (if applicable).
7. Migration /Transfer Certificate (in Original).
8. Experience Certificate (In service candidates).
9. Self-attested Copies of R. Publications in SCI Journals, if any.

1. Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ BC), Category certificate (BA/ S/ PWD/ FF/ SG/ Ts/ Sports as applicable as per the university requirements), Physically Handicapped Certificate (for PH category students).
2. No Objection certificate (NOC) from employer (for in-service candidates).
3. Relieving Certificate (for all candidates, irrespective of category, who are/were working at the time of admission).
4. Fellowship/Scholarship Certificate (for Sponsored/ Fellowship/ Scholarship category students).
