Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

UG Programs

BBM (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam in any discipline, with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Final year 10+2 students, who expect their final results by May can also apply.

Selection Process: Final selection of the students shall be done purely on merit which shall be decided on the basis of academic performance in class 10 and class 12 examinations.

Fees: Rs. 76,000/- Per Semester

B.Com (Hons) (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 exam (or equivalent) in any discipline, with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Final year 10 +2 students, who expect their final resultsby May 30, current year of admission can also apply.

Selection Process: Final selection of the students shall be done purely on merit which shall be decided on the basis of academic performance in class 10 and class 12 examinations.

B.Sc. (Hons) (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam in any discipline, with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Final year 10+2 students, who expect their final results by May 31, of admission year, can also apply.

For Environmental Science, Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam with minimum 55% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology.

B.A. (Hons) in Public Administration (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam in any discipline, with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Maths), with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Selection Process: Candidates will have to appear for a written test and/or personal interview.

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam from recognised board with minimum 45% marks.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold

a) A three-year Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized university, with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

b) At least three years of experience in executive capacity in an organization of repute in the public, private or non-governmental sector.

Self-employed persons with minimum 5 years of experience after obtaining qualifying degree can also be considered.

c) Minimum age of 23 years as on July of the current admission year.

d) Sponsorship or No Objection Certificate from the employer for pursuing this course at XIMB.

Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Architecture/Planning or Master’s Degree in Geography/Economics/Sociology with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university can apply.

Those with a valid Admission Test score of GATE/ CEED/ NATA/ CCU will be given preference. 

Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregate can apply.

Those with a valid Admission Test score of GATE/ CEED/ NATA/ CCU will be given preference. 

Candidates who have secured the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position (i.e., any of the top three ranks) in their Undergraduate Programs in Planning/Architecture/Civil Engineering or Master’s Programs in Geography/ Economics/Sociology can apply without any Admission Test score by entering their rank information in the Xavier University Online Application Form.

A certificate from the Head of the Institution stating their rank/ position must be furnished. 

Candidates from any other disciplines with at least 60% marks in aggregate and with a demonstrable experience and interest in Urban and Regional Planning may also apply.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Writing Ability Test / Personal Interview.

M.Sc. in Economics (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a three-year Bachelor's Degree in Economics, with at least 55% marks in aggregate, from a recognized University.

Or

a Bachelor’s Degree with first class in any discipline (preferably in quantitative-based subjects of Natural and Biological Sciences, or in technical subjects such as Engineering/Technology).

Final year Degree students, who expect to complete their final examinations and other requirements for obtaining the degree by June can also apply.

Selection Process: The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the admission test and/or Personal Interview, and will take into account the past academic record and relevant work experience.

M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Degree of B.E/ B.Tech (Computer Science/Information Technology/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical)/ M.Sc. (Computer Science/Information Technology)/MCA (with Physics and Mathematics/Statistics at B.Sc. level) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate, or equivalent, from a recognized university.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Xavier Engineering Entrance Examination (XEEE).

The shortlisted candidates will be invited for Personal Interview.

Master in Public Policy & Governance (MPPG) (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from recognised university.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

Basic exposure to Economics / Mathematics / Statistics / Engineering / Political Science / Social Science required.

Selection Process: Candidate should have good academic records, personal interview.

Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) UG Programs Admission Process 2022

Step 1: Fill-up the Registration Details to create and receive by email, your XUB ID/Login ID and password.

Step 2: Login and fill-up the Personal Details, Academic Details, and upload your photo & signature, and choose the program/s you want to apply for and Submit.

Step 3: Pay the application fee through the Payment Gateway. (Application fee is Rs. 1,300/- for one program, and additional Rs. 300/- each for every additional program of the same School or other Schools. Use the same Login ID/form to apply for multiple UG programs).

Keep the following ready before you start filling the form: 

1. Scanned / digital images of your passport size photo in JPEG format, with dimensions of about 200x250 pixels and within 50 kb in size.

2. A Scanned copy of your signature in JPEG format, with dimensions of about 250x125 pixels and within 50 KB in size.

3. Bank account/debit card details for carrying out the on-line payment transaction.

Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) PG Programs Admission Process 2023

Step 1:  Fill up the "Login Details" (in the Next page) to create and receive by email a unique XU ID/ Login ID and Password for applying to Xavier University. If you have already received your XU ID/ Login ID and Password, then login as per Step 2.

Step 2:  Login with your XU ID/ Login ID and Password. Fill up the Personal Details, Academic Details, Professional Details, choose the program/s you want to apply for and the respective test option/s, upload your photo & signature and Submit. (You may keep ready the scanned/digital images of your photo/signature in JPEG format, in advance. The dimensions of photo may be of about 200x250 pixels, and the signature may be of about 250x125 pixels, both images within 50 kb each in size).

Step 3:  Pay the application fee through the Payment Gateway. (Application fee is Rs. 1,600/-).

If you have filled the application form and paid the application fee successfully, you will receive the confirmation by email regarding the acceptance of your online application form.
