TERI School of Advanced Studies (TSAS)  offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

LLM (1 year)

Seats: 50 

Eligibility: Candidate should hold LLB Degree from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

Selection Process: Admission to the LL.M. program is made on the basis of an all-India online test, written test and interview conducted by the university.

The online test will be one-hour long and will consist of one paper with 100 multiple-choice questions. The questions will be divided into three sections 

• Proficiency in English
• Analytical reasoning
• Quantitative ability

Fees: Rs. 1,56,000/- Total

MBA (2 year)

Seats: 30 each stream

Specialization:

• Business Sustainability
• Infrastructure Management

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

Candidate should have English in 10+2 as a subject.

Selection Process: Valid Score in TERI SAS Common Entrance Test.

Candidate holding CAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT/XAT scores need not to appear for TERI SAS Common entrnace test.

Selection from shorlisted candidates will be on the basis of group discussions and interviews conducted by the university at New Delhi.

The online test will be one-hour long and will consist of one paper with 100 multiple-choice questions. The questions will be divided into three sections

M.Tech (2 year)

Specialization:

• Renewable Energy

Eligibility:

Seats: 60

M.Tech. Renewable Energy: Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Engineering or M.Sc. Degree from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 60%.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Written Test and Interview. 

Preference will be given to GATE/ NET qualified candidates.

M.Tech. Urban Development and Management: Candidate should hold  a Bachelor’s Degree in B.E/ B.Tech in any branch, B. Arch., B. Planning, 

Or 

Masters or equivalent Degree in Science.

M.Sc. in Climate Change and Sustainability Studies (2 year)

Seats: 25

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ Engineering/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geology/ Geographywith a minimum  60% marks in aggregate.

For candidates with Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities (e.g. Economics/Geography), a relaxation of 5% could be allowed.

It is important for aspiring candidates to meet these criteria in order to be considered for further selection processes.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a B.A (Hons) / B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Economics with a minimum of 50% marks. 

Or 

Bachelor's Degree in any other discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

The applicant must have studied mathematics either at 10+2 level or at Bachelor’s level.

Eligibility: 

M.A. in Public Policy and Sustainable Development:  Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum experience of five years in any of the following sectors:

• Government
• Regulatory bodies
• Industry research/academic institutions
• NGOs and donor/consultant organizations.

Selection Process:  Selection from shorlisted candidates will be on the basis of group discussions and interviews conducted by the university at New Delhi.

Fees: Rs. 3,02,000/- Total

M.A. in Sustainable Development Practice:  Candidate must meet the following prerequisites.

Undergraduate Degree in any discipline, from a recognized institution / university.

Candidates with prior experience in development sector would be preferred, although it is not mandatory.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Common Entrance Test and Personal Interview.

Ph.D (3 year)

Specialization:

• Biotechnology

• Energy and Environment
• Natural Resources
• Policy Studies
• Regional Water Studies

Eligibility:  Candidate should hold a Master’s Degree in relevant stream from recognised university/ institute.

Must have obtained a Master’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent with at least 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. UGC recognized one year Post Graduate degrees may be accepted in exceptional cases.

Requirements for full-time sponsored candidates

Sponsored candidates are required to submit a sponsorship certificate from their employers on an official letter head clearly stating that for the period of his/her studies under the programme, the candidate would be treated on duty with usual salary and allowances and that he/she will be fully relieved for the full period of the study and admissible fee of the candidate will be paid by the sponsoring organization.

Candidates seeking admissions to Ph.D. programs on the basis of study leave must present a proof at the time of interview of the fact that they will be/ have been granted study leave for a minimum period of three years. 

Selection Process: On the basis of merit of the qualifying exam and following by interview.
