SCMS School of Technology and Management (SSTM): Admission 2021

SCMS School of Technology and Management (SSTM)  offers following programs for the academic year 2021-2022

B.Com (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 from recognised board.

Selection Process: Marks obtained in previous (10+2) qualifying exam.

BCA (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2   in science stream with Mathematics/Computer Science/Informatics Practices as a compulsory subject.

Selection Process: Marks obtained in previous (10+2) qualifying exam.

B.Sc. ( 3 year)

Specialization:

• Biotechnology
• Botany

Eligibility:  Candidate should pass 10+2 from recognised board.

Selection Process: Marks obtained in previous (10+2) qualifying exam.

B.A. in Economics (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the 10+2 Board of Kerala or any similar qualifications recognized by M.G. University, Kottayam , Kerala.

Selection Process: Marks obtained in previous (10+2) qualifying exam.

BCA + MCA (Integrated Program) (5 year)

Eligibility:  Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

A relaxation of 5% marks from the prescribed minimum shall be allowed in the case of physically handicapped persons.

Selection Process: Marks obtained in previous (Graudation) qualifying exam.

 M.Sc. (2 year)

Specialization:

• Molecular Biology
• Biotechnology

Eligibility: Candidate should be a Graduate in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Agriculture, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology and other Biological Sciences from a university recognized by UGC are eligible. Graduates of Biomedical Engineering and Biotech Engineering can also apply.

Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be done as per the rules and regulations of M. G University, Kottayam.

 MCA (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold B.Sc. /BCA/ B.Tech. /B.A./ B.Com Degree with mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at graduation with not less than 55% marks, excluding languages, in the qualifying examination

Candidates with B.Sc. Computer Science, BCA, or B.Sc. or B.Com degree of the Mahatma Gandhi University or any other degree, of the university or any other university considered valid / equivalent thereto by the University need only apply

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

MBA (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate must have passed a Bachelor's Degree examination of the Mahatma Gandhi University or an equivalent degree of any other University duly recognised by the Mahatma Gandhi University.

A minimum of Fifty percent marks in the qualifying exam is compulsory according to university regulations. Candidates with 50% marks aggregate in any Master's degree from the MG University or any other University recognised by it can also apply

Selection Process: A valid KMAT/CMAT/ CAT score and Personal Interview is must for admission.

Attach following documents along with filled up form

Submit to the college 

• Copies of 10th and 12th mark lists
• Community certificate(if applicable)
• 3 copies of passport size photograph

Application can be submitted in person at the SCMS Corporate Office at Muttom ( Near Apollo Tyres, North Kalamassery) remitting Rs. 650/- or by post along with DD worth Rs. 650/- in favour of "Director, SSTM" payable in Ernakulam.

The cost of Prospectus and application is Rs. 650/-.
