Jagadguru Shankaracharya College of Nursing (JSCN) offers following programs for the academic year 2024-2025

B.Sc. Nursing (4 year)

Seats: 80

Eligibility:  Candidate should have passed in the subject of PCB and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45 % marks taken together in PCB at qualifying examination i.e, 10+2 from recognized board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE or other equivalent Board.

Students belonging to SC/ST or backward classes, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in 10+2 be 40% instead of 45% as stated above.

English is compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (N).

Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

Maximum age limit is 35 years.

Student shall be medically fit.

Selection Process: Valid Score in CGPNT Exam.

M.Sc. Nursing (2 year)

Seats: 20

Specializations:

• Medical Surgical Nursing
• Community Health Nursing
• Child Health Nursing
•  Obesteric & Gynaecological Nursing

Eligibility: Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

Candidate should have passed B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Exam.

From the date of Admission Notification & Counseling by the Chhattisgarh State Nursing Council, Prospectus and Application Form can be obtained from the Head Office of Jagadguru Shankaracharya College of Nursing, Mujgahan, Raipur District.

The application form submitted should be complete in all respects. Self-attested copies with 3 sets of required certificates/documents have to be submitted along with the Original documents for counseling and verification process.
