B.Sc. in Nursing (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi university of Health Sciences, with science subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Have obtained at least 50% (45%) of the total marks in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & English for General Category.
Minimum 40% marks in case of SC/ST.
Have completed 17 years on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.
Be medically fit [should produce a medical fitness certificate from a recognized licensed Physician].

Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing (2 year)
Seats: 50
Eligibility: Candidate must
Hold a diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM).
Be a registered nurse and midwife.
Have passed pre-university examination in the Arts, Science / Commerce by Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka state or its equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
Be medically fit [Should produce a medical fitness certificate] from a recognized licensed physician.
Have a good personal and professional record.
Have working knowledge of English.
Be within 48 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission.

M. Sc. in Nursing (2 year)
Specialization and Seats:
Eligibility: The candidate seeking admission must:
Passed B.Sc. Nursing [Basic] or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Degree or Post certificate B.Sc. Nursing of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka [RGUHS], or any other university accepted as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 55% aggregate marks in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ ST, the aggregate marks obtained minimum 50% instead of 55% as above.
Have a minimum of 1 year of experience after obtaining B.Sc., Nursing (Basic) or minimum of one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree or Post Certificate B.Sc. Nursing [completed before 2009] in a hospital or Nursing Educational Institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing council.
Registered in State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife.

Details of enclosures to be attached to the application:
a) One photocopy of the statement of marks of the qualifying examination (10+2) / PUC
b) One photocopy of the S.S.L.C. certificate showing the date of birth
c) One latest passport size photo duly affixed to the application form
d) One photocopy of SC/BC certificate duly certified, if applicable
e) Transfer Certificate.
