Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT): Admissions 2023

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) offers following program for the academic year 2023-2024

MBA in International Business  (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years' duration in any discipline.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50% marks.

In case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories, minimum marks shall be obtained 45%.

Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by precribed date.

There is no age limit for appearing in this examination.

Admission of any candidate who joins the program on provisional basis but fails to obtain minimum percentage in the Bachelor’s Degree examination will be automatically cancelled forthwith.

For Foreign Nationals/NRI Candidates:

Recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years' duration with minimum 50% marks. 

Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by prescribed date.

In order to qualify as an international candidate for the purpose of applying to IIFT entrance exam, a candidate should have been (expected to be) resident outside India for a period of not less than 18 months and be outside India during the IIFT examination window. The Indian nationals who are living, working, studying abroad should produce with the application a certificate from the Indian Embassy / High Commission /Consulate of the country where the candidate is currently based, stating that the candidate has been resident in that country continuously for a period of not less than 18 months.

NRI-Sponsored candidates and Children of NRIs are not considered under this category.

Selection Process: Selection is based on written test IIFT MBA (IB), group discussion and interview.

Please note that Category once filled by the candidate in his / her online application, will not be changed under any circumstances.

Candidates can apply for IIFT MBA(IB) 2023-24 through “Online” mode only.

Submission of Online Application Form may be done through NTA website https://iift.nta.nic.in.

The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.

Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.

Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:

Step-1: Apply for Online Registration using unique Email ID and Mobile No.

Step-2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.

Step-3: Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (file size: 10 kb - 200 kb), Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb) and Copy of Certificate indicating Category and/or Subcategory, as applicable. (PwD) (file size: 50kb -300kb).

All documents uploaded should be in JPG/JPEG format.

Step-4: Pay fee using ICICI/ PAYTM Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI/ PAYTM and keep proof of fee paid. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled, and amount will be refunded to the candidate’s account. However, the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.

Download save and print copies of Confirmation Page after successful remittance of fee and keep copies safely for future reference. 

Documents to be Submitted Along with Application Form( For NRIs and Foreign Nationals only)

• Filled in CV Form.

• Copy of latest GMAT score certificate.

• Attested copy of all academic mark-sheets/certificates (Class 10th,   10+2 & Graduation).

• Copy of all Passport pages having official entries.

• An undertaking that the candidate has not appeared for any MBA entrance examination for the academic year 2021-22 examination such as CAT/XAT/IIFT, etc.

• Two letters of recommendation(s), preferably, one of these should be written by a current supervisor or manager. The second one should be from someone who is in a position to evaluate the applicant’s professional performance as well as his / her managerial and leadership potential. No letter of recommendation should be written by immediate family members, e.g. parents, grandparents, siblings or spouse.

IIFT: MBA (IB) Important Dates 2023

Executive PG Diploma in Global Human Resource Management (EPGDHRM) (18 Months)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a

(i) Post Graduate Degree Or any professional Degree such as HR, law,engineering, architecture, medicine, pharmaceutical,agriculture, horticulture, etc. with Two years of work experience equivalent from any recognized university or Institution.

Only managerial work experience until 15th May, 2023 will beconsidered.

No Objection Certificate (N.O.C) from the employers required at the time of admission only for sponsored candidates.

There is no age limit for applicants.

Selection Process: The final selection will be based on the candidate’s overall performance in the personal interview. Past academic record, experience, motivation to complete the program and willingness to excel would get weightage in overall assessmentfor admission.

IIFT: EPGDHRM Admission Process 2023

Register Online :

• Click on "Apply Now" and choose the category under which you want to apply.
• Fill in the basic details required for registration and submit the form.
• Once submitted, Application number will be generated and intimated through an email sent to the registered email id.
• Log in to the website using the Application No. mentioned in the email and Password entered by you while registering.
• Follow the links to complete the registration process.
• Once completed, the intimation regarding successful registration will be sent to the registered email id.

Registration fee :

• General/OBC candidates :  Rs.  2,000/-
• SC/ST/PH candidates :  Rs. 1,000/-
• Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI candidates :  US$ 80 (Rs.  4,500/-)

Mode(s) of payment:

Mode 2: Demand Draft - Applicant has to get a DD made in favour of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE, payable at New Delhi, since the candidate is required to fill in the details of the Demand Draft in the online application form.

Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Global Human Resource Management (at Delhi) will begin in June 2023. 

BBA + MBA (Integrated) (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination in any stream or equivalent from recognised board in the year 2021, 2022, 2023.

The candidate must have passed class 10th examination with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender) or more in the year not before 2019.

Mathematics/ Business Mathematics as a subject in +2 level is mandatory.

The candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2003 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 1998)

Selection Process: For short-listing/selecting the candidates, IIFT will use score of IPMAT 2023 examination conducted by IIM-Indore.

Merit list for the admission will be prepared on the basis of his/her IPMAT 2023 Score of IIM-Indore, Academic Profile of class 10th and Gender Diversity.

IIFT: BBA + MBA Integrated Admission Process 2023

Applications Available:  Online

Application Fee: Rs. 2,000/-, Rs. 1,000 for SC/ST/PWD).

Step 1- Please visit IIM- Indore website (visit www.iimidr.ac.in) and fill their Online Application Form. After submitting the application successfully there, note the registration number of your application.

 Application fee once paid will not be refunded.

Step 2- Visit IIFT website (www.iift.ac.in) and click on the ADMISSIONS 2023 icon. Submit IIFT’s online application form as per details given

on the website. Please note that it is mandatory to fill IPMAT-2023 registration number in IIFT application form.

 Step 3- Self-Attested copies of mark-sheets of 10th and 12th.

Category students need to upload the requisite certificate.
