Father Muller College of Nursing (FMCN) offers B.Sc. , Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. courses for the academic year 2022-2023

B.Sc. Nursing (4 year)

Seats: 100

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50% marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).

40% marks for reserved category in PCB.

Admission of NRIs and foreign nationals is based on the qualifying marks in their core subjects.

Candidate minimum age shall be  17 years at the time of admission or will complete this age on or before 31st August of the year of admission. 

Maximum age shall be 25 years.

Candidate should be unmarried.

Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination innot more than two attempts.

Medium of instruction - English.

Selection Process: Admission based on merit of previous qualifying examination. 

Post Basic (B.Sc. Nursing)

Seats: 60

Eligibility: Candidate should hold General  Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Diploma.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55% marks in GNM.

Age Limit is 48 years on August 31 st  of the year  of Admission.

Medium of instruction - English.

Selection Process: Admission based on merit of previous qualifying examination. 

M.Sc. Nursing (2 year)

Seats: 8 each stream

• Medical Surgical Nursing
• Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing
• Community Health Nursing
• Psychiatric Nursing
• Paediatric Nursing

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Bachelor's  Degree in Nursing B.Sc. (N) or PBBSc Nursing, obtained minimum 55% marks in B.Sc. (N) or PBBSc Nursing.

Age limit  45 years as on May 31 of the year  of Admission.

Professional experience certificate for one complete year after obtaining B.Sc. / PBBSc  Nursing Degree registration.

Candidates from states other than Karnataka should beRegistered under Karnataka Nursing Council.

Medium of instruction - English.

The candidates should posses good health and character and free from physical and mental handicap.

The candidates for Post Basic Nursing should not be in the family way during the entire course.

The copies of the Certificates once submitted will not be returned.

5. Professional experience certificate for ONE COMPLETE YEAR after obtaining B.Sc. /PB B Sc Nursing degree registration
