Amala College of Nursing (ACN) offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024
B.Sc. Nursing (4 year)
Eligibility: Candidates must be Citizens of India / children or dependents of Non Resident Indians.
Candidate should pass 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
Or
Pass 10+2 Examination Or an equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics,Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Relaxation in marks: The candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes will have a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination.
They need only 45% marks in the case of Biology and 45% marks in the case of optional subjects put together.
The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination.
The medium of instruction and examination shall be English.
Selection Process: Admission is on the basis of merit only.
Fees: Rs. 63,500/- Per Year
Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2 year)
Eligibility: Candidates must be Citizens of India / children or dependents of Non Resident Indians.
The candidate should have passed 3 or 3½ yearsGeneral Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Course with50% marks in aggregate from an institutionrecognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Candidates should have passed 10+2 Examination (12 years course) Or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from arecognised board or university, with Science subjects(Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

M.Sc. Nursing (2 year)
Specialization:
Eligibility: Candidates must be Citizens of India/children or dependents of Non Resident Indians.
Candidate should have passed B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC)
One year experience in any recognized hospital or in recognized school of nursing or in a public health agency after registration as Nurse / Midwife.
Candidate shall be medically fit.
Medium of instruction and examination shall be in English.
Candidates must be Citizens of India / Children or dependents of Non Resident Indians.
Selection Process: Valid Score in Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala.
Fees: Rs. 1,00,000/- Per Year
Amala College of Nursing (ACN) Admission Process 2023
Interested candidate shall be submitted application online only.
Fill online application form and upload required documents along with prescribed fee and submit.
Physical documents are NOT to be submitted at the office.
Before applying online, candidates should register first with a valid email ID.
Scanned copy of recent (taken after 1st January 2021) passport size colour photograph. Photograph should be taken in a white/light coloured background. The image should be in JPEG format. Maximum size for photograph 50 KB and image dimension is 120x150 px (4.23x5.29 cm).
Scanned copy of the Certificates. The image should be in JPEG / PDF format. Maximum size for JPEG / PDF file 500 KB.
If documents attached are not legible, the application will be rejected.
One single application is sufficient to apply to all the Member Colleges.
Application Fee Payment
The application fee can be paid either by online payment gateway
Or
South Indian Bank Challan.
The online payment can be made by clicking the relevant link for payment gateway on the application page of the AMCSFNCK website, after login and entering the details of the candidate.
Or
The South Indian Bank Challan can be generated after login and entering the details of the candidate.
You may use the print-out of the SIB challan generated to deposit the application fee in any of the South Indian Bank Branch Counters.
Then the next step in the online application form will prompt you to fill in
(1) Transaction Date and
(2) Branch where application fee is deposited in the appropriate column and upload the scanned copy (JPEG / PDF file).
At the time of reporting for admission, all the relevant certificates/ documents in original as listed below should be submitted to the institution:
i. Proof of age and date of birth, if applicable.
ii. Certificate and Mark list of 10th Std.
iii. Certificate and Mark list of 10+2 Std.
iv. Certificate and Mark list of qualifying examination (B.Sc/Post B.Sc Nursing)
v. Certificate of good conduct from the institution last attended (preferably issued within six months).
vi. In case the candidates claims reservation under Christian Community Category, the Community Certificate issued by the Revenue Authorities.
vii. Certificate in proof of SEBC/ OBC/ SC/ ST status obtained from the Tahsildar concerned.
viii. Eligibility / Equivalency Certificate from Kerala University of Health Sciences & Indian Nursing Council (INC), wherever applicable.
ix. Certificate of registration from the Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council
x. Transfer Certificate (T.C.)
xi. Course & Conduct Certificate
xii. Migration Certificate, if applicable.
xiii. Nativity Certificate, if applicable.
Xiv. Conduct certificate from the Head of Institution last studied in proof of clause.
xv. Copy of Photo ID Proof ( Aadhaar/ Voters ID/ Passport)
xvi. Copy of PAN Card of Candidate/Guardian.
xvii. Copy of the format of online application form.
xviii. Passport size photographs (8 Nos.).
Additionally, two sets of photocopies of all the certificates/ documents attested by a Gazatted officer have to be submitted at the time of admission.
