B.Sc. Nursing (4 year)
Seats: 60
Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 50% of marks.
Minimum 40% marks for reserved category in PCB.
Minimum age 17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission.
Selection Process: on merit basis in the previous qualifying examination.
Foreign nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to Basic B Sc Nursing program candidates should have qualified 12th standard obtained by association of Indian University/ Institution/ Council or equivalent that has been prescribed by Indian Nursing Council.
M.Sc. Nursing (2 year)
Seats: 25
Eligibility: Candidate should pass B.Sc. in Nursing with minimum 55% Marks in B.Sc Nursing or PBB.Sc. Nursing.
Age limit 45 years as on May 31 of the year of Admission.
Candidate should have experience certificate for one completed year after obtaining B.Sc. / PBB.Sc. Nursing Degree registration.
Registered with the State Nursing Council as a registered nurse and registered midwife
Selection Process: on merit basis in the previous qualifying examination.
Foreign nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to M. Sc Nursing program must have valid certificate of registered nurse by their own country except for OBG specialty.
Post Basic (B.Sc. Nursing) (2 year)
Seats: 50
Eligibility: Candidate should hold GNM Diploma from recognised institute/university.
Age Limit is 48 years on December 31st of the year of Admission
Selection Process: on merit basis in the previous qualifying examination.
Foreign nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to Post Basic B.Sc Nursing B.Sc. in Bangalore program must have valid certificate of registered nurse by their own country.
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) (3 year)
Seats: 40
Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam in Science.
Minimum age should be 17 years and maximum age should be 35 years as on admission year.
Students shall be medically fit.
Candidate should be registered ANM with pass mark.
Selection Process: on merit basis in the previous qualifying examination.
Reservation:
a) For disabled candidates: 3% Disability reservation to be considered with a disability of locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to age and qualification will be same as prescribed for each nursing program.
Note: A committee to be formed consisting of medical officer authorized by medical board of state government and a nursing expert in the panel which may decide whether the candidates have the disability of locomotors of 40% to 50%.
b) 5% of total marks is relaxed for SC/ ST candidates.
c) Any other reservation as per the State Govt.
Note: Reservation shall be applicable within the sanctioned number of the seats by INC and not above it.

Admission is open to all candidates from all parts of India and abroad.
Candidates should meet basic requirements for admissions, admission will be taken once in a year, August/September for UG and PG

Fill application form and dully completed application form should be submitted along with a photocopy of the following:
1. B.Sc. Nursing Certificates (for PG)
2. 10th and PUC Certificates
3. Migration Certificates
4. Transfer Certificates
5. Conduct Certificates
6. 5 passport size photographs
7. GNM Certificate (for PC B.Sc.)
Selected candidates will receive provisional admission letter along with details of joining instructions.
Note: No original certificate should be attached to the application form.
All the admissions are provisional and are subject to final; approval by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka.
Students other than Karnataka state: Students of other states other than Karnataka should submit eligibility certificate from Registrar, RGUHS, Bangalore at the time of admission.
International students: An international student seeking admission shall enclose the following certificates along with application:
A certificate of Academic Eligibility issued by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka.
A clearance certificate issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
