Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

B.Sc. (Hons) (4 year)

Specialization:

• Community Science
• Agriculture

Eligibility: 

B.Sc. (Hons) in Community Science: The candidate should pass in 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Biological/ Natural Science and Physical Science.

The upper age limit of 22 years old is relaxed in certain situations.

It is 25 years of age for SC/ST candidates, and 27 for those with Physical disabilities.

Selection Process: Merit base.

Fees: Rs. 37,350/- Per Year

B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture: The candidate should  have to pass 10+2 examination with subjects, Physical Science and Biological or Natural Science.

Minimum age shall be required 17 years as on 31 December of the admission year.

The upper age limit of 22 years old is relaxed in certain situations. It is 25 years of age for SC/ST candidates, and 27 for those with Physical Disabilities.

Selection Process: Valid Score in  EAMCET.

Candidate holding diploma in agriculture and want to get admission in B.Sc. (Hons) program has to pass Agriculture Common Entrance Test (AGRICET).

65% of the seats will be filledunder Convener Quota at the time of counseling and the remaining

35% seats will be filledby the Management of affiliated Agricultural Colleges from the merit list obtained fromthe AGRICET.

Eligibility:

B.Tech. Agriculture Engineering: The candidate should pass 10+2 examination conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, A.P. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the university or Intermediate Board with the following subjects:

i) Physical Sciences

ii) Mathematics

Selection Process: Valid Score in EAMCET.

Latearl Entry- Duration 3 year: Candidates holding 3-year diploma in Agricultural Engineering are eligible.

Selection Process: Valid Score in AGRIENGGCET.

Fees: Rs. 37,350/- Per Year

B.Tech. Food Technology: The candidate should pass in 10+2 examination conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, A.P. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate Board with any two of the following subjects:

i) Mathematics or Biological or Natural Sciences
ii) Physical Sciences.

Selection Process: Valid Score in EAMCET.

Eligibility: The candidate should hold a B.Tech (Ag. Engg.) Degree of 4 years from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

M.Sc. (2 year)

Eligibility: The candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in relevant stream from recognised university/ institute.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test Conducted by the University.

MBA in AgriBusiness Management (2 year)

Eligibility: The candidate should hold a Degree of B.Sc. (Ag. ) / Hort. / B.Tech. (Ag.Engg.) or B.V.Sc. & AH / B.F.Sc. / B.H.Sc / B.Tech (Dairying) / B.Tech (Food Technology) / B.Sc. (Food Science & Technology) / B.Sc.(CA&BM) Degree of 4 years duration.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test (AIEEA / AICE (ICAR)), Group Discussion and Interview.

Fees: Rs. 5,140/- Per Semester

Ph.D (3 year)

• Agricultural
• Home Science

Eligibility: The candidate should hold a Master's Degree in relevant stream from recognised university/ institute.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Marks weightage:

• An entrance test is conducted by the university: 50% weightage.
• Performance at the Master's level: 30% weightage.
• Performance at the Degree (undergraduate) level: 10% weightage.
• Performance in the personal interview conducted by the university: 10% weightage.

Medium of Entrance Test

• AGRICET: Telgu Language
• AGRIENGGCET: English Language

Pay application fee of Rs. 1,200/- (Rupees one thousand two hundred only) for general candidates and Rs. 600/- (Rupees six hundred only) for SC, ST & PH candidates. 

 In the event of late fee paid Rs. 2,400/- (Rs. 1,800/- in case of SC/ ST/ PH).

Candidates need to make payment online through credit card/ debit card/ net banking.

After successful completion of online submission of application, the candidate must send the hardcopy of the submitted ONLINE application along with the following

documents by Post so as to reach

on or before due date.

List of documents to be attached with the hard copy of online application:

1. Hard copy of online submitted Application form

2. Proof of Age (Xerox copy of 10th certificate)

3. Attested copy of the marks statement of 10th standard and Diploma Course (or) Completion Certificate of Diploma issued by the Head of the Institute.

4. Character certificate issued by the Head of the Institute last attended indicating that he/she has never been found guilty of misconduct during the study period and never been fined and punished.

5. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST/ BCs) issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer.

6. Proof of local status (last 7 years) through study or residence.

7. Certificates issued by the concerned authorities in the case of Special categories like PH, NCC, Sports and CAP.

8. One self attested passport size photograph

9. Payment acknowledgement

After pass in entrance test candidate may apply for admission.

Click on PG Admission Notification for PG and Ph.D. Courses, click on the link for application for desired course.

Download the form.

Fill downloaded form carefully.

The candidate has to fill a separate application form for applying to each course.

Send the form to the university along with a DD  of Rs. 1,200/- for General and Rs. 600/- for SC, ST & PH categories (M.Sc. / Ph.D. courses) for each course in favour of  SBH / SBI / ANDHRA BANK and drawn in favour of The Comptroller, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, payable at Guntur.
