Selection Process

Candidate should pass  EAMCET/ Agriculture Common Entrance Test ( AGRICET) for admission in B.Sc. (hons) in Agriculture.

Candidate should pass EAMCET/ AGRIENGGCET to get admission in B.Tech program.

For B.Sc. (hons) in Community Science, admission will be offered on merit basis.

For M.Tech Program, candidate should pass ICAR AIEE exam.

For M.Sc. and Ph.D Admission, candidate should pass entrance test.

AGRICET and AGRIENGGCET Process

Medium of Entrance Test

• AGRICET: Telgu Language
• AGRIENGGCET: English Language

Pay application fee of Rs. 1,200/- (Rupees one thousand two hundred only) for general candidates and Rs. 600/- (Rupees six hundred only) for SC, ST & PH candidates.

In the event of late fee paid Rs. 2,400/- (Rs. 1,800/- in case of SC/ST/PH)

Candidates need to make payment online through credit card/ debit card/ net banking.

After successful completion of online submission of application, the candidate must send the hardcopy of the submitted ONLINE application along with the following

documents by Post so as to reach

on or before due date.

List of documents to be attached with the hard copy of ONLINE application:

1. Hard copy of online submitted Application form

2. Proof of Age (Xerox copy of 10th certificate)

3. Attested copy of the marks statement of 10th standard and Diploma Course (or) Completion Certificate of Diploma issued by the Head of the Institute.

4. Character certificate issued by the Head of the Institute last attended indicating that he/she has never been found guilty of misconduct during the study period and never been fined and punished.

5. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST/ BCs) issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer.

6. Proof of local status (last 7 years) through study or residence.

7. Certificates issued by the concerned authorities in the case of Special categories like PH, NCC, Sports and CAP.

8. One self attested passport size photograph

9. Payment acknowledgement

After pass in entrance test candidate may apply for admission.

ANGRAU Admission Process

Visit the official website of the university and click on Exams/ Results/ Admissions tab.

Click on PG Admission Notification for PG and Ph.D. Courses, click on the link for application for desired course.

Download the form.

Fill downloaded form carefully.

The candidate has to fill a separate application form for applying to each course.

Send the form to the university along with a DD  of Rs. 1,200/- for General and Rs. 600/- for SC, ST & PH categories (M.Sc. / Ph.D. courses) for each course in favour of  SBH / SBI / ANDHRA BANK and drawn in favour of The Comptroller, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, payable at Guntur.

Also send the copies of required certificates along with the DD and the application form.
