Selection Process

For admission to MHA, MPT, MOT, MPO, MPH and Diploma program, candidate should pass entrance exam.

Admission to M.Sc.  Medical Bio technology, Biochemistry, Perfusion Technology,  Applied Nutrition, Critical Care Sciences, Operation Theater Tech. is based on entrance test.

Admission to M.Sc. in Biochemistry is based on marks obtained in B.Sc. Degree exam.

For admission to B.Sc. courses, candidate should pass entrance exam.

To get admission in M.Sc. in Nursing, candidate should pass WBPGNAT exam, conducted by WBUHS,  for Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing, candidate has to pass WBNAT exam.

MHA Admission Process

The candidate appearing for counseling will have to bring the following documents in  original along with attested copies of all relevant documents:

 (i) WBMAT Admit Card,

 (ii) Degree/ Provisional passing certificate and mark sheet (s) or equivalent of the qualifying  examination

 (iii) Internship completion certificate (wherever applicable),

 (iv) Secondary/ Madhyamik passed out certificate/ Class 10th Mark sheet/ Class 10th Admit Card  as proof of age,

 (v) Any other relevant document.

1. Admit Card of West Bengal Post Graduate Physiotherapy and allied subject admission test (WBPGPASAT).
2. Mark-sheet (s) of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.)/ Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy)/ Bachelor of Science (P.O.)/ B.P.O./ Bachelor of Science (O.T.) (B.O.T.) examination. (As the case may be)
3. Proof of age (10 class marksheet)
4. SC/ ST/ OBC/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PC certificate, if applicable from the appropriate official
5. Internship completion certificate.
6. Any other relevant document/ documents. 

MPH Admission Process

The fee for applying for the MPH Admission Test for the two-year MPH Degree program at the Institute of Public Health, Kalyani is Rs. 3,000/-

payable through Payment gateways provided during on-line application to the course to be made available in https://wbuhs.ac.in.

During admission, the following documents are to be produced at the Institute:

1. Admit card of the Admission Test in original.

2. Mark-sheet(s) of qualifying examination and Provisional/Final passing certificate in original.

3. Registration Certificate issued by State Registration Councils, if applicable.

4. Age Proof (10th marks sheet)

5. OBC-A/ OBC-B/ SC/ ST/ certificate if applicable issued from competent authority

6. In- service candidates (E.S.I, Central Government, West Bengal Government, other State Government or employed under any Private  Establishment and any other autonomous bodies receiving funds from State Government/ Central Government) has to furnish ‘No Objection’ certificate from the employer about permission to pursue the course and source of stipend or salary during the period of study during counseling.

M.Sc. in Nursing and Post Basic (B.Sc. Nursing) Admission Process

During admission following documents be produced at the college:

(i) Admit Card of the Admission Test in original

(ii) Mark-sheet all year 

(iii) Registration Certificate issued by State Registration Council

(iv) Proof of age (10th standard marks sheet)

(v) Working experience certificate from the competent authority  for M.Sc course

(vi) OBC-A/ OBC-B/ SC/ ST/ certificate if applicable / Physically Challanged certificate  issued by the competent certificate issuing authority

(vii) In- service candidates (E.S.I, Central Government, West Bengal Government, other State Government or employed under any Private Establishment and any other autonomous bodies receiving funds from State Government/ Central Government) has to furnish ‘No Objection’ certificate in respect of her current status during counseling. Other candidates also will produce the relieving order of last working institution

(viii) Any other relevant document.

Diploma Program Admission Process

Applicant will be provisionally allowed to appear in the admission test provided he/ she submits his/ her application on-line in the prescribed form for the  course and pay the application fee of Rs. 3,000/- online.

The candidate or his/ her representative appearing for counseling will have to bring the following documents in original:

i) Admit card of West Bengal DHPE/ Dip.Diet / D.H.S Admission Test.

ii) Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (as applicable).

iii) Age proof (10th class marksheet).

iv) SC /ST/ PWD /OBC / OBC-A/OBC-B certificate issued by the competent certificate issuing authority.

v) Documents relating to date of completion or resignation (accepted by the competent authorities) about any other course being pursued by the applicant.

vi) PWD Certificate showing lower limb disabilities only amounting between 40% – 70% issued by the Dept. of Physical Medicine, IPGME & R.

vii) For DHPE Candidate only: Certificate to substantiate a minimum two years of experience in Public Health / Health Education / Health Promotion to the satisfaction of the authorities of AIIH & PH as to the acceptability of the certificate.
