Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management (AIEM) establihsed in 2008. After two years of successful running the Abacus Institute of Engineering & Management (abbreviated as AIEM) was jointly taken over by the two pillars of modern technical education in eastern India- JIS Group and Techno India Group.

Location wise the college is 2 km distant from Mogra Railway Station, 10 km from Bandel Jn., 50 km from Howrah/Kolkata and 60 km from Burdwan Station. It is also well connected by road and rail to many important cities of West Bengal like Howrah, Digha, Bongaon, Asansol, Durgapur etc. Keeping with the trends of the day and emerging facets AIEM acquires a new genre of creating and nurturing the budding technocrats.
