The course fee for non-sponsored candidates is Rs. 2,30,000/- plus GST@18% per participant, with the following breakdown:
a) An amount of Rs. 23,600/-* is to be paid at the time of counseling to confirm admission. This amount is non-refundable.
b) A first installment of Rs. 1,18,000/-* towards the course fee is to be paid upon reporting/joining the allocated institute. This installment is 50% refundable if paid before the course commencement.
c) A second installment of Rs. 1,29,800/-* is to be paid by January 1, 2024. This installment is non-refundable.
For sponsored candidates, the course fee is Rs. 3,60,000/- plus GST@18% per participant, with the following details:
a) An amount of Rs. 23,600* is to be paid at the time of counseling to confirm admission. This amount is non-refundable.
b) The full course fee amount of Rs. 4,01,200/-* is to be paid upon reporting/ joining the allocated institute. This amount is non-refundable.
International candidates are required to pay a course fee of US$ 20,000* (plus GST@18%), with the following payment terms:
A deposit of 10% is to be paid at the time of counseling to confirm admission, and the remaining balance is to be paid at the time of joining. The entire amount is non-refundable.

Eligibility and Selection Procedure for PG Diploma Program (PGDP) in National Power Training Institute - Guwahati Candidates must have completed their B.Tech. / B.E. or an equivalent degree with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Mechanical/ Electrical /Electrical & Electronics / C& I / Power Engineering and related branches. Selection Process: A common merit list of eligible candidates will be prepared by NPTI, on the basis of the % marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree and interview conducted by NPTI. 90% and 10% weightage will be given to marks obtained in degree and interview, respectively while preparing the merit list. Interview will be conducted through Telephone/ conferencing App/ online platforms. Age limit: There is no age limit for admission to PGDC courses. |

National Power Training Institute (NPTI) Admission Procedure
For admission into PG courses, eligible candidates common merit list will be prepared on the basis of the % marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree and interview conducted by NPTI. 90% and 10% weightage will be given to marks obtained in degree and interview, respectively while preparing the merit list.
COUNSELING
The physical presence of the candidates may be relaxed for attending the counselling. Centralized Counselling may be conducted by NPTI Faridabad by connecting the candidates through video calling/conferencing. Candidates may deposit the admission fee/ counselling fee which is a part of their course fee at NPTI CO Faridabad for confirmation of their admission. After the counselling, candidates may submit the hard copies of the necessary documents/ certificates for verification and undertakings at the respective institutes while joining/reporting for the course. In case of candidates of OBC category for Sponsored/ Non-Sponsored, Non-Creamy Layer Valid Certificate must have been issued by the concerned authority.
ALLOCATION OF COURSE & INSTITUTE
Allocation of course in desired Institute will be done on the basis of Merit List subject to availability of seats at institutes at the time of respective Counseling. Allotment of all seats will be done only by Counseling.
Counseling schedule and details will be displayed on our website. All candidates are advised to check the website frequently for any updates. No individual communication shall be entertained.

The registration fee is Rs.500/- (including GST) to be paid online through SB Collect by clicking here or through IMPS/ NEFT/ UPI. Candidates are required to pay before applying as they need to fill the payment details in online application form.
