Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BTech in Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology Candidates should pass in 10+2 exam from recognised board with with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Technical Vocational subjects with individual pass marks in all three subjects as stated above in regular class mode. Candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC, ST, OBC, PwD) in all the three subjects taken together. Candidates must have passed English in “10+2” examination with at least 30% marks. The board of qualifying examination must be recognized either by the Central or State Government. Both B.Sc. Candidates and Diploma holders in Engineering & Technology will also be eligible for admission. Selection Process: Candidates must have valid WBJEE / JEE (Main) Score. Lateral Entry- Duration 3 year: Candidate holding Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics as a subject from recognised university/ institute. Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%. Seletion Process: Valid Score in JELET. |

Selection Process
Candidate should secured valid score in PGET/GATE to get admission in M.Tech. Program.
Candidate should secured valid score in CAT/MAT/JEMAT. to get admission in MBA.
Admission to the MCA program will be given on the basis of JECA exam.
Candidate should pass WEBJEE/ JEE MAIN exam to get admission in B.Tech. program.
For admission in B.Tech. Lateral Entry, candidate should pass JELET exam with valid score.
Admission to the BCA and BBA will be given on the merit basis of qualifying exam.
