Candidate should pass 10+2 exam with minimum 45% marks in Science with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Or

a pass in HSC (Vocational Stream) with a minimum of 45% marks in Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry as one of the main subjects.

Or

40% in HSC Academic / Vocational for reserved category.

Lateral Entry- Duration 3 year: Candidate holding Diploma Engineering or B.Sc. with Mathematics as a subject with  50% marks (45% of marks for OBC/MBC and SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the II & III years (from III semester to VI semester) diploma courses.

Age: The candidate should not have completed 21 years of age as of 1st July of the academic year under consideration. For Lateral Entry admission to the second year of the degree program, the candidate should not have completed 24 years as on 1st July of the academic year under consideration. In the case of SC/ST candidates, the age limit is relaxable by 3 years for both cases.
