Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BSc (Hons) in JIS Unversity B.Sc. (Hons) Biotechnology: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam with minimum 50% marks from recognised board. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory in addition to any one subject from Chemistry /Biology /Computer Science / Statistics.
B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam with minimum 50% marks from recognised board. Chemistry is compulsory in addition to any two subjects from Physics / Mathematics / Biology / Computer Science / Statistics.
B.Sc. (Hons) Geology: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam with minimum 50% marks from recognised board. Chemistry is compulsory in addition to any two subjects from Physics / Mathematics / Biology / Computer Science / Statistics.

Selection Process
For MBA course, candidate should secure valid score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT and GD, PI.
To Admission in all above mentioned courses is based on score obtained in Joint Entrance Test (JET) conducted by the JIS University.
JIS University (JISU) Admission Process
For admission to JIS University courses, students have to qualify in JIS University Entrance Examination (JISUEE).
This exam is conducted by ONLINE mode and can be given by the students sitting at their home or reporting at the University campus at Agarpara as per pre-defined time slots.
Generally this Online exam is conducted every week on Wednesday and Saturday at 11 am to 1 pm.
How to apply for JISUEE
You need to apply online through our website by visiting any of the following links in “Apply for Online Admission” which is under Admission menu in the home page.
Please note that candidates applying from India location should choose General option for the respective course they are applying and candidates who are not Indian citizens should select International option for the selected course while they are applying online.
After online form fill up, candidates need to complete the Document Verification process by visiting the University campus and need to appear for an Online exam at the University campus for taking Admission.
Documents Required for Document Verification Process
All candidates need to carry the original and Photostat copies (self attested) of the following documents from Standard 10th Board exam upto 10+2 standard exam passed (Standard XII Board exam/ Graduation /Post Graduation) in university campus for completing the document verification process.
i) Marksheet
ii) Admit Card (indicating the Board Registration Number)
iii) Pass Certificate
iv) Aadhar Card (for Id Proof)
v) 5 passport size photographs
vi) Migration Certificate.
Interested applicant may download from form the official website of JIS University.
Application form fee can be paid through Credit/ Debit cards or Net Banking.
The candidates shall keep safe the copy of the submitted application form and the transaction receipt for the further reference.
Only single application form is to be filled for each courses.
After success full submission of application forms, shortlisted candidates will be informed over the phone about the date, time and venue of admission procedure.
The selection will be based on the entrance test scores.
