Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Diploma Program (DP) in Indian Maritime University - Chennai Candidate should have passed 10+2 or its examination equivalent with:
Maximum age
There will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks o fPCM for SC/ST candidates, however, it will not apply to English Marks Physical Standards: Candidate must be in good mental and physical health and free from any deficiency likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties, as per the medical standards laid down by the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India. Eye Sight: Candidate must have 6/6 vision in both eyes. Color blindness is not permitted. Medical fitness has to be certified by DG Shipping approved company doctors. Selection Process: Valid Score in IMUCET. |

Selection Process
Admission to the all above courses except BBA course will be given through IMUCET.
Admission Process
Candidates have to apply online only for appearing for the Common Entrance Test.
Application Fee for applying online for CET is
- Rs. 1,000/- for General candidates and
- Rs.700/- for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates. Application Fee has to be paid online only.
