Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Post Basic (BSc Nursing) in Holy Family College of Nursing Candidates must be Citizens of India / children or dependents of Non Resident Indians. Candidate should have passed 3 or 3½ years General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination from a recognised board or university, with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). Relaxation in marks: The candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes will have a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. They need only 45% marks in the case of Biology and 45% marks in the case of optional subjects put together. The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination. |
