Selection Process

Admission to the all above programs are based on entrance exam, conducted by the university.

For MBA, M.Tech, MBBS and B.Tech, valid score in university entrance exam or any other exam accepted by the university.

Upload all necessory documents and submit.

Offline: Applications can be obtained by post from Director-Admissions by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate's name with complete mailing address accompanied by DD for Rs. 800/- drawn in favour of GITAM (Deemed to be University) payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank.

Applications are also available throughout India in selected branches of Union Bank of India, Indian Bank and Karur Vysya Bank.

on or before last date.

For MBBS (Documents required)

The candidates seeking admission into MBBS course in Stray Vacancy Round must be physically present at the time of admission with the following original certificates along with 2 sets of photocopies: 

1. NEET – UG admit card issued by NTA.
2. NEET Score card issued by NTA.
3. NEET UG result/rank card issued by NTA. 
4. Date of birth Certificate: 10th Mark sheet/12th Mark sheet/ Birth certificate. (Must have completed the Seventeen years of the age on or before 31st December ).
5. Class 10th Mark Sheet (both sides of Mark Sheet should be photocopied).
6. Class 10+2 Mark Sheet (both sides of Mark Sheet should be photocopied) or any other equivalent examination of the first appearance.
7. Transfer certificate obtained after the completion of class XII or equivalent courses.
8. Conduct Certificate.
9. Permanent Community Certificate Card- as per Medical Counseling Committee / DGHS guidelines
10. Ten (10) recent Passport size photographs: same as affixed on the NEET application form.
11. AADHAR card. (Proof of Identity)
12. Migration Certificate- if applicable.
13. NRI documents to verify NRI status

The following certificates are required in case of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Disabled persons :

1. SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the format as specified in the prospectus) and should be in English if it is in other than English and English version of the same should be submitted Sub caste should be mentioned in the certificate.
2. OBC / EWS certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. The OBC / EWS certificate must be in the format as mentioned in the prospectus.
3. Disability Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board for 21 Benchmark Disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disability Act,2016. No other PH certificate, issued by any other Authorities/ Hospital will be entertained. 

 The following documents are required in case of NRI candidates: 

1. Affidavit of the person who is NRI and the Sponsorer.
2. Documents claiming that the Sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, and VISA of the Sponsorer / Parent / Student)
3. Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India & Ors. dated 22- 08- 2017.
4. An affidavit from the Sponsorer that he/she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate.
5. Embassy Certificate of the Sponsored.
6. Working Proof / Residence permit / International Driving License
7. If foreign student – Valid Passport, VISA/Residence Permit.
