Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE) offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

B.Tech (4 year)

Specialization:

• Computer Science & Engineering (CS&E)
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Information Technology

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2  with an aggregate of minimum 50% and above in (Mathematics/Biology), Physics and Chemistry.

Age limit: 21 years for OC / BC / MBC / DNC.

No age limit for SC / ST.

Candidates appearing in MPC are eligible to apply for all the B.Tech. Engineering programs

Candidates appearing in BPC are eligible to apply only for B.Tech. Bio-stream Engineering programmes (B.Tech Biotechnology, B.Tech Food Technology).

Selection Process:  Valid Score in KUEE/ JEE MAIN.

Lateral Entry- Duration 3 year: Diploma course in the relevant field of specialization Students with an average 60% marks in pre-final and final semester put together in a three year Diploma Courses in the relevant area are eligible to apply.

Fees: Rs. 1,50,000/- Per Year To Rs, 1,80,000/- Per Year

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2  with an aggregate of minimum 50% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Selection Process:  Valid Score in NATA.

Fees: Rs. 1,20,000/- Per Year

Eligibility: Candidate should have pass 10+2 from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be secured 55%.

Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of Kalasalingam Common Entrance Examination and merit considering 10+2 marks.

Fees: Rs. 45,000/- Per Year

Eligibility: Candidate should have pass 10+2 from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be secured 55%.

Selection Process: Selection for the program will be done on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination.

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam in Science with Mathematics,Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Physics, Chemistry, Biology with a fourth (elective) subject viz., Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Home Science./ Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology from recognised boad.

A pass in any Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics or Statistics as any one of the subjects at Graduate level.

The University may exempt or decide separate terms and conditions for Ph.D. Entrance Test for those students who qualify UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE/ CAT teacher fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil program.
