Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in related stream from recognised university/ institute with 45% marks.
Ph.D. in Islamic Studies (3 year)
Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Master's Degree in Islamic Studies from recognised university/ institute.
Minimum mraks shall be secured 55%.
Selection Process: Admission to Ph.D. program in Jamia Hamdard will be in two stages:
(1) Entrancetest, followed by (2) interview/interaction.
The weightage will be 80% and 20% for entrance test and interviews, respectively.
In the Entrance Test 30% weightage willbe given to ‘Research Aptitude Test’ and 70% to ‘Subject Specific Assessment’.
There will be no exemption for entrance test for research staff appointed insponsored research projects, if they are not from the exemption category. The syllabus for subject specific test will generally be the same as in the Masters (PG) program taught at Jamia Hamdard.
