B.Tech (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or possess an equivalent qualification from recognized board.

Selection Process: The admission to the B.Tech. course is through the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced followed by JoSAA counselling.

The seat allotment is done based on the candidate’s preference for college and IIT Gandhinagar cutoff.

Candidates who have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 75% aggregate (65% aggregate for SC/ ST) are eligible to apply for BTech.

JoSAA Counselling Important Dates 2022

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree with out roundoff taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined,  should be secured at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/ OBC (NCL) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ ST and PwD category candidates.

For Candidates with letter grades/ CGPA (instead of percentage of marks), the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the Admitting Institute(s).

Selection Process: Valid Score in JAM exam.

M.Sc. in Cognitive Science : Students who hold a Bachelor’s Degree (e.g. B.A., B.Sc., B.Tech, BCom, MBBS) in any discipline with a minimum of 55% (5.5 CGPA for students with letter grades/ CGPA) aggregate marks for General/ OBC category candidates and at least 50% (5.0 CGPA for students with letter grades/ CGPA) aggregate marks for SC, ST and PD category candidates in the qualifying degree, are eligible to apply for admission.

Students who would be completing Bachelor’s Degree in the current academic year  are also eligible to apply.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Exam and Personal Interview conducted by the institute.

Due to the covid situation, both admission tests and interviews will be online.

You are requested to have at your disposal a camera-enabled laptop or desktop for the procedures.

Smartphone will not work for the tests. Please make sure you have good connectivity.

Candidates need not send the hard copy of the application form. However, you need to furnish a hrd copy of the application form with a photograph and all the documentary evidence in original (testimonials, certificates, publications, work experience, and research/professional experience) at the interview time. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Application Fees for SC/ ST/ PwD: Rs. 150/- and all others: Rs. 300/-.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s  Degree with pattern 10+2+3 or equivalent from a recognized university, in any  discipline.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Eligibility requirements for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates will be in accordance with the Supreme Court guidelines.

The students who are awaiting final semester/ year results and those who would be completing a Bachelor’s Degree in the current are also eligible to apply.

Selection Process: Admission to M.A. Society and Culture is offered based on entrance test and interview.

Fees: Rs. 90,000/- Total

Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 55% marks / 5.5 (on a 10 point scale) in B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Sc. or equivalent in appropriate branches (50% marks for SC /ST) from a recognized university.

The eligibility criteria mentioned above is minimum and the disciplines may use higher cut-off levels for shortlisting. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PD categories would be eligible for relaxations, as per norms, in the selection criteria.

Selection Process: Valid Score in GATE.

Fees: Rs. 4,00,000/-Total

Ph.D. Earth Sciences: Candidate should hold a Degree of M.Sc. (Geology, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, Geography, natural sciences or

related subjects) with 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PD) or a CPI/CGPA of 6.0 (5.5 for SC/ ST/ PD) out of 10. Must be CSIR-NET, INSPIRE fellowship or GATE qualified
