Guru Gobind Singh College of Education (GGSCE) offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

B.Ed (2 year)

Seats: 200

Eligibility:  Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree from recognsied board.

Selection Process: Merit in Graduation.

Reservation is as per rule of Govt.

Fees: Rs. 45,000/- Per Year

M.Ed (2 year)

Seats: 50

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a B.Ed Degree from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 55%.

50% in case of Sc/ ST candidates.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test Conducted by Punjab University, Chandigarh.

Fees: Rs. 50,000/- Per Year

Fill application form

Pay prescribed fee as registration charges and submit filled up form along with following documents to the college.

B.Ed Admission Process 2023

Certificates to be attached with application form 

1. Attested Copy of the certificate of the good conduct from the principal of the college last attended.

2. Attested Copy of proof of the date of birth (10th standard marksheet)

3. Please attach attested copy of special claims, if any.

4. Attested Copy of the degrees (B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com/ BCA/ BBA/ T.D.C. Part I,II,III and Detail Marks of M.A/ M.Sc. Certificates.

5. Domicile of resident of Punjab.

6. Migration certificate from previous university.

M.Ed Admission Process 2023

After the result of the Entrance Test has been declared, all eligible candidates are required to send the application form for admission to M.Ed to A.R. (CET Cell).

The admission to the M.Ed course is done as per the N.C.T.E. norms by the Admission Committee to be constituted by the Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University.

The Admission is done through centralized counselling.

The dates and venue for the counselling is notified in the leading dailies of the region.

Separate merit list for M.Ed (Regular) and M.Ed (through Correspondence) is computed by the University by giving 50% weightage to entrance test and 50% weightage to the qualifying examination as follows:
