Goa College of Architecture (GCA): Admissions 2024

Goa College of Architecture (GCA) offers following programs for the academic year 2024-2025

B.Arch (5 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 from recognised board with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% aggregate marks for applicants belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC).

Or

10+3 Diploma (any stream) passed/ appearing recognized by Central/ State Govts with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics.

Or

International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks  in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

Age: An applicant to Degree courses in Architecture must have competed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year of admission to become eligible for admission to First Year.

No age limit, minimum or maximum, is specified for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy Courses.

Selection Process: Valid Score in NATA.

Fees: Rs. 3,00,000/- Per Year

M.Arch (2 year)

Specialization:

• Sustainable Architecture
• Urban Design

Eligibility: Candidate Should

a. Be an Indian national.

b. Hold a B.Arch Degree from Goa College of Architecture and /or Architecture Colleges in Goa or an equivalent Degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category residence of Goa).

c. In case of sponsored candidates: A letter from the employer in format must be furnished stating that the candidate is being sponsored so as to get admission and that the candidate will not be withdrawn midway till the completion of the program.

Selection Process: Valid Score in GATE.

When candidates qualified with valid GATE score are not available in any Group,admission will be given to non-GATE candidates on merit based on the aggregatemarks/ grades/ CGPA scored by the candidates at B.Arch. examination, as considered for the award of Degree, by the respective universities. 

Fees: Rs. 42,500/- Per Semester

The application form for admission is also included in the e-prospectus.

 The candidates are required to download the same to prepare for online submission as per the schedule of admission given in the e-prospectus.

Candidates shall also make ready scanned copies of the eligibility documents required as listed in the e-prospectus.

The candidates shall access the website of Goa College of Architecture, at https://gcarch.goa.gov.in/march-admissions/ for M.Arch and https://gcarch.goa.gov.in/b-arch-admissions/ for B.Arch to apply in online mode only along with Application Fee (Rs. 1,800/- for M.Arch, Rs. 1,700/- For B.Arch) paid through e Challan.

3. Certificate in support of residence(Residence/Bonafide)

4. Documents for relaxation in the period of residence, if any

5. Certificate for reserved category claimed

6. Certificate of date of birth

7. School/college leaving certificate 8. Eligibility Certificate from Goa University (for applicants other than Goa Board)

9. Income Certificate (for fee concession)

10. Copy of Aadhaar Card

11. Acknowledgement card(will be provided at Application Receiving Centre) to be affixed with photograph

12. Candidate Copy of GCET Admit Card(if answered)

13. Candidate Copy of NATA Score Card

For M.Arch Admission

1. Recent passport size photograph on the application form

2. Statement of marks/marks cards of B. Arch (all semesters)

3. Valid GATE score card

4. Valid caste certificates (in case of applicants claiming under Group II)

5. Valid disability certificate from the competent authority (Medical Board of Goa Medical College) in case of applicants claiming under Group I (b)

 6. Sponsorship letter from the competent authority of the concerned department along with due NOC from the government under Group I (c )

7. Eligibility certificate from the Head of the Institution of the graduating institution duly recognized and approved by COA/ AICTE/ PCI/ UGC in case of applicants claiming under Group III

8. Provisional Eligibility from Goa University (if applicable)

9.  Migration Certificate (if applicable)

10. College Leaving Certificate

11. Copy of Aadhaar Card (Availing Direct Benefit Transfer from AICTE)

12. Copy of income and assets certificate issued by Mamlatdar [for availing seat under EWS category I (d)]

13 Application Fee of Rs. 1,800/- through eChallan as indicated.

14. Registered Architects Certificate/undertaking from Applicants regarding submission of Registered Architect Certificate (COA) within six months.
