M.Sc. Physics: Candidate should hold a B.Sc. /B.Sc. (Hons) Degree with Physics as one of the subjects from a recognized university or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list) with at least 50% marks aggregate (45% for SC/ST and Kashmiri Migrant and non-migrants Students).
Selection Process: 50% of seats will be filled on the basis of performance in JAM-2022 (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc), the national level test conducted by the IITs for admission to M.Sc. programs.
The remaining 50% of the seats will be filled on the basis of performance in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test CUET (PG).
In case of non-availability of qualified candidates in any one of the modes mentioned above, qualified candidates from the other mode will be considered for admissions.
All candidates seeking admission through JAM 2022 MUST also apply for M.Sc Physics program at CU Karnataka through CUET (PG).

M.Sc. Chemistry: Candidate should hold a B.Sc/B.Sc. (Hons) Degree with Chemistry as one of the subject from a recognized university or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list) with at least 50% marks aggregate (45% for SC/ST and Kashmiri Migrant and non-migrants Students) and who have secured a minimum of 40% (35% for OBC {NON CREAMY LAYER} SC/ST, PWD and Kashmiri Migrant and non-migrants Students) marks in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test 2021.
50% of seats will be filled on the basis of performance in JAM-2022 (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc), the national level test conducted by the IITs for admission to M.Sc. programs.
The remaining 50% of the seats will be filled on the basis of performance in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test 2021.

Specialization:
Eligibility: Candidate should hold Master's Degree with minimum 55%.

UGC-NET/ UGC-CSIR NET/ SLET/ GATE/M.Phil./or, any other national level fellowship test qualified students need not appear the CUCET but have to get registered through CUCET.
Selection Process: Valid Score in CUCET.
Central University of Karnataka (CUK) Admission Process 2023
Applications should be submitted ONLINE only.
OFFLINE applications will NOT be accepted.
Applicants are required to have a valid personal email ID and mobile number.
They should keep email id and mobile number active during the entire admission process, so they may get any important message from university regarding entrance exam.
Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:
Step-1: Register for Online Registration using your own Email ID and Mobile No. and note down system generated Application Number.
Step-2: Complete the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application Number.
Step-3: Upload visible scanned images of:
(i) a recent photograph (in jpg/ jpeg file, size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background;
(ii) candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb)
Step-4: Pay prescribed fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI and Wallet, keep proof of fee paid for future reference.
All the 4 Steps can be done together or at separate timings.
After the submission of Online Application Form (i.e successful completion of Step-4),Confirmation Page of the Application Form, should be downloaded and a printout of the samemay be retained for future reference.
The Confirmation Page of the online Application Formwill be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate.
In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of the prescribed Fee, thecandidate should approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway integrator for ensuring the successfulpayment.
