Eligibility |
Eligibility and Selection Procedure for PhD in Xavier School of Commerce Candidates should hold Master’s or equivalent Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% of marks in the Master’s level. Applicants need to secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the Master’s (or an equivalent) level. In case this score is available on a letter-grade system or grade-point system, the University expects a minimum equivalent of 55% marks in aggregate as per the awarding University’s norms for conversion to a percentage. Selection Procedure: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their academic records and SOPs. The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for Xavier Research Aptitude Test (X-RAT), Subject Test (if applicable), Presentation, and Personal Interview to be held in Bhubaneswar. Details about X-RAT is available separately on our website. The coursework for the selected candidates will commence from June.

Selection Process
Final selection of the students shall be done purely on merit which shall be decided on the basis of academic performance in class 10 and class 12 examinations.
Admission Process
Step 1: Fill-up the Registration Details to create and receive by email, your XUB ID/Login ID and password.
Step 2: Login and fill-up the Personal Details, Academic Details, and upload your photo & signature, and choose the program/s you want to apply for and Submit.
Step 3: Pay the application fee through the Payment Gateway. (Application fee is Rs. 1,300/- for one program, and additional Rs. 300/- each for every additional program of the same School or other Schools. Use the same Login ID/form to apply for multiple UG programs.)
Keep the following ready before you start filling the form:
1. Scanned / digital images of your passport size photo in JPEG format, with dimensions of about 200x250 pixels and within 50 kb in size.
2. A Scanned copy of your signature in JPEG format, with dimensions of about 250x125 pixels and within 50 KB in size.
3. Bank account/debit card details for carrying out the on-line payment transaction.
