M.Tech. in Urban and Regional Planning: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture/Physical Planning /AMIE Grade-IA/Master Degree in Geography/Economics/Sociology/Sponsored/deputed Candidates from Government/Semi-Government / Quasi Government/ College/Department teachers sponsored from Engineering Colleges with any one of the above said qualifications with a minimum of 2 years of working experience are also eligible for admission under the quota reserved for them. 

M.Tech. in Computer Science Technology:  Candidates who have passed B.Sc. with Computer Science / Computer Application as an Optional with 50% marks in cognate subject.

Candidates should have studied Mathematics as a major or a minor subject in their B.Sc. Degree. 

5% Relaxation in case of SC, ST category.

M.Tech.in Materials Science: A pass in B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Geology Polymer, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Environ-mental Science, Sericulture, Computer Science, Food Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Forensic Science) (3 Years coursework with an option to exit after 2 years with M.Sc. Degree.)

A pass in B.E / MBBS / B.Tech / B.Pharma / BDS / B.Sc. (Ag) (anybranch) M.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry , Geology, Polymer, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Environmental Science, Sericulture, Computer Science, Food Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Forensic Science, Nanotechnology).
