Trinity Theological College (TTC) was established on the 14th of November, 1992. Situated in Thahekhu village, Dimapur, the college is conveniently located approximately 5 kilometers away from the main city. Spanning across 30 acres of elevated land, the college campus is characterized by lush greenery, creating a serene and eco-friendly environment reminiscent of a natural park.
TTC is affiliated with the esteemed Senate of Serampore College (University). It is proudly sponsored by the Sumi Baptist Convention (SBC), which represents the Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (WSBAK), Sumi Aphuyemi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SABAK), and Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SBAK).
Since 1993, TTC has been officially registered as an educational institution with the Government of Nagaland, operating under an approved constitution. Additionally, the college holds recognition from the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) and the Council of Baptist Churches of North East India (CBCNEI).
TTC offers a range of esteemed programs, including the B.D. (Bachelor of Divinity) and M.Th. (Master of Theology) degrees. These programs are affiliated with the Senate of Serampore University. It is important to note that the B.Th. (Bachelor of Theology) program has been phased out in accordance with the new regulations of the Senate of Serampore College (Univ.). Currently, the college focuses on providing exceptional education through its B.D. and M.Th. programs, specifically in the Old Testament and New Testament Departments.
