Selection Process

Admission to the M.E and M.Tech program is based on GATE score.

Admission to the MCA, M.A and M.Sc. program is based on marks obtained in 10+2, Graduation.

Admission to the BA (Hons), BBA (Hons) and B.Sc. (Hons) is based on marks obtained in 10+2 standard.

Pay application form fee through online or offline- DD.

Fees:

• All UG programs, M.Sc, M.A: Rs. 1000/-
• M.E/M.Tech: Rs. 1500/-

Once application form filled and payment done

You will receive  a confirmation by email regarding acceptance of your online application form.

In case candidate select the option of making payment through Demand Draft (DD), candidate has to send Demand Draft and request letter to the institute through Registered Post/Courier/Speed Post or by hand at the following address:

Candidate will get admission form through email after receiving DD of application fee.

After filling the online application form, take two printouts of the form.

If Application Fee is paid online: Candidates are not required to send the printout of applicationform but they must produce it at the time of document checking of original documents during ‘Inperson’ counselling.

If Application Fee is paid through DD: Candidates should send a printout of application form along with the DD of required amount (as mentioned in filled online Application

Form/Prospectus)drawn in favour of “Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology” payable at Patiala, to:

Please retain a copy of the printout of your form.

All original certificates and a set of attested copies of the certificates are required to be produced at the time of document verification during ‘In- person’ counselling.
