Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BTech in Sethu Institute of Technology Candidates of HSC (Academic) and other Equivalent Examinations Candidate who has pass with minimum average marks with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together
Candidates of HSC (Vocational) Candidate who has pass with Minimum average marks in any one of Related Subjects (Maths or Physics or Chemistry), Vocational Theory and Practicals put together
When the candidates produce grade certificates, they have to produce the actual marks also otherwise only the minimum marks applicable to the grades in the eligible subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Fourth Optional Subject) shall be taken into account. Application Process 2019
Mode of application is online and done through TNEA for B.E. and TANCET for M.E programs. The application form can be filled through the official website of TNEA or TANCET.
For TNEA: The application fee of INR 5000 (INR 1000 for SC, SCA and ST) can be paid through Net Banking.
For TANCET: The application fee of INR 500 (INR 250 for SC, SCA and ST) can be paid through Net Banking.
Documents required for TNEA:
- HSC and SSC Mark sheet
- Transfer Certificate and HSC Hall Ticket
- Permanent Community Certificate Card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM (either Permanent card or electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate)
- First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate) – If applicable
- Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate – If applicable
- Srilankan Tamil Refugee certificate – If applicable
- Special Reservation Form (s) with DD and photocopy of the Relevant Certificate (s) – If applicable
Documents required for TANCET:
- Class 10th or its equivalent mark sheet.
- Three-year diploma certificate or a copy of class 12th mark sheet.
- Permanent community certificate for SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu state.
