For admission to the BTech degree course in Engineering, candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.

Selection Process:

Admission to B.Tech degree programs (CSE, ECE, EEE,ME,CIVIL) at NIT in the year 2019, through Central Counselling Board, will be based on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) – 2019.

Besides the successful candidates from qualifying examination; specified number of foreign nationals and Indian nationals residing abroad for at least a period of 5 years, satisfying the norms approved by the Senate and selected by the Central Counselling Board in accordance with the policy laid down by the Government of India may be admitted directly to the first year of any of the courses covered by this Regulation.

Reservation: Reservation of seats is as per the rules of Govt. of India

ADMISSIONS UNDER DASA SCHEME: Admissions are open for Foreign Nationals / Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) / Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) under Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) Scheme to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), IIITs and other premier Technical Institutions.
