Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BEd in Mier College of Education Candida should have passed Bachelor’s Degree and / or Master’s Degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in the Faculty of Arts, Science, Social Science, Commerce or Faculty of Music and Fine Arts from the university of Jammu or an examination of any other university recognized as equivalent thereto. 75% of the sanctioned seats available in the college shall be filled from amongst the eligible candidates who:- i) are Graduates or Post-Graduates of the University of Jammu; Or ii) belong to areas falling within the territorial jurisdiction of the University of Jammu but have passed the qualifying examination from a University other than the University of Jammu. OR iii) Such employees of the Central/State Govt./Public Sector Undertakings or any other Organization recognized by the University of Jammu as are posted within the territorial jurisdiction of the University of Jammu or wards (sons, daughters or spouses) of such employees. Provided further that wards of Kashmiri migrants in other parts of the Country are also eligible for admission to the B. Ed./B. Ed Special Education (MR/ID) Course under Local Category of the admission within the 75% of the sanctioned seats in order of merit, provided such a candidate produces a documentary evidence of belonging to a family registered as Kashmiri Migrant. b) The remaining 25% seats shall be filled from amongst the eligible candidates who neither belong to the territorial jurisdiction of the University of Jammu nor have passed the qualifying examination from the University of Jammu. All admissions in the College shall be provisional till the candidates are regularised by the College after proper scrutiny of the documents. |

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission:
- 10th standard certificate.
- Marks sheet of qualifying exm.
- Degree/Provisional certificate issued be institute/college last attended.
- Marks certificate of each part of the qualifying exam.
- Certificate of good conduct from the Principle of Collge.
- Category Certificate issued by competend authority as per the latest SRO issued by the JK govt. (if applicabe)
- Certificarte of being Permanent Resident of State of J&K issued by competend authority.
- Migration Certificate
- Affidavit as per the specimen available with the admission cell of the college.

ii) Scanned copy of Candidate’s signature with following specifications.
a. Signature should be done with black ink on a white paper.
b. The signature must be signed only by the Candidate and not by the any other person.
c. Maximum size 30 kb.
d. Scanned signature format should be .jpg only.
iii) Scanned copy (.jpg or .pdf format) of all certificates (as desired) is to be uploaded with the application form.
iv) Payment Details for submission of Application Form (Online Transaction Details).
v) Create an email account if you already don’t have one.
vi) You must give a correct mobile number when you fill the form. If you don’t have mobile number, please enter your guardian’s mobile number as admission related messages will be sent through SMS also.
