Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BBA in Mahatma Gandhi University Candidates shall be required to pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognised university. Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%. There is no upper and lower age limit for admission to undergraduate programs. However the upper age limit for admission through sports quota is 25 years. Selection Process: Admission will be through Common Admission Process (CAP). |

Selection Process
Admission to the UG and Some PG Programs ex..M.Com, MLISc, MHM,MJMC and MSW will be admitted through Common Admission Process (CAP)
Admission to the PG and BA LLB program will be through MGMU- CAT Process.
Centralised Allotment Process (CAP)
The application fee will be as follows:
For All General Candidates: Rs. 750/-
For SC/ST Candidates: Rs. 375/-
Steps for On-line Registration:
1. For online registration of personal and academic data, the candidates must visit the web site, www.cap. mgu.ac.in and click on the link “UG CAP- 2021”.
2. Follow the online instructions and fill in the personal details in the relevant fields provided.
3. Please take utmost care while choosing the board of examination at plus two level and entering the register number as academic details are fetched directly based on the register number entered by the candidate.
4. Please note that only one application can be generated using one mobile number and hence the applicant should be extremely careful while entering the details online.
5. Create a ‘Password’. (The password is mandatory for all future online operations). The password created by the candidate should not be disclosed to others who may misuse it. This may result in tampering with the options and the University will not be responsible for any such eventuality.
6. Fill in the Application Form with personal details, academic eligibility and the options correctly.
7. Pay the application fee by clicking on the “PAY NOW” button which will redirect you to the Online Payment Gateway. You can use Debit Card/ Credit Card or Internet Banking facility for making online payment.
8. After remitting the fee, you will be redirected back to the application page.
9. Upload the digital images of the documents in proof of caste/community/bonus marks claimed etc.
10. Verify with the relevant documents and confirm the details entered on-line.
11. After satisfying himself/herself that the details entered are correct, the applicants shall press the Final Submission Button.
12. Take the print out the confirmation page for your future reference.
Hardcopies of the filled in application shall not be, repeat and not be sent to the university.
CAT-MGU Admission Process
Candidates who seek admission should either visit the official portal of the University www.mgu.ac.in and go to the link CAT-MGU 2021 or go directly to www.cat.mgu.ac.in
Before starting online registration read CAT MGU Prospectus carefully.
Online Registration
Candidate can apply online by clicking on Apply Now tab at the university website.
Candidate should first create an account in the webpage by typing in the required minimum personal details and by creating a password for future login.
After the registration process is over click SAVE and CONTINUE, the account is generated the candidate will be shown his/her application number.
This Application Number must be remembered for future login.
Candidate should fill application form carefully.
Registration fee can be remitted by online payment system only.
Credit/Debit cards and Internet Banking facilities can be used for making payment.
For General Candidates: Rs. 1,100/- (One thousand and one hundred) per each program/cluster of programs listed as a single option. (all programs of a School/Department/Centre for which only one test is required). However, if a candidate opt for different programs of different schools for which different tests are to be taken, separate fee shall be remitted for each such programs.
For SC/ST Candidates from Kerala: Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five Hundred and Fifty Only) for each program/cluster of programs listed as a single option.
After paying registration fee, candidate should click the final submit button.
After completion of the online registration, the candidate should take printout of the confirmation document and keep it with himself/herself. These document should be submitted at the time of admission to the university admission office.
Hardcopy should not be sent to the university.
