|
Eligibility and Selection Procedure for PhD in Institute of Microbial Technology Candidates should pass Master's Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech/M.Pharm) with minimum aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent in CGPA in any branch of Life sciences / Biotechnology / Physics / Chemistry / Computer Sciences or allied subject with special interest in Biology OR B.Tech (in Information Technology/Computer Sciences/ Biological Sciences or other branches with special interest in Biology) / B.Pharm / B.E. / MBBS candidates with at least 55 % (SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates). Selection Process: CSIR/UGC NET, DBT JRF examination, or ICMR JRF examination. Age: Minimum 19 max 28 years. (Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India rules). The decision of the Director, IMTECH, regarding selection/admission of the candidates shall be final. |

Application Procedure for PhD in Institute of Microbial Technology Please bring 2 copies of attested photograph and 2 original copies of filled-in form in the prescribed format (may be downloaded from our website). You can send the copy of filled-in form to us by email at phd@imtech.res.in as an attachment. Kindly also bring original and attested copies of (a) All certificates (school leaving, B.Sc., M.Sc., etc.), (b) Proof of passing NET or other Junior Research Fellowship Examination (a copy of certificate or roll number along with newspaper clipping showing result with roll number should be highlighted). THOSE WHO ARE SELECTED WILL BE ASSIGNED LABS AND WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY Rs.3000/- IN CASH (Non-refundable) TOWARDS REGISTRATION WHICH WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DONE AFTER SELECTION/ADMISSION.
