Detail: Tool and Die Engineering is a very highly skilled and specialized profession and requires intricate and precise fitment and machining of jobs with exposure to modern techniques. A Tool Engineer should be capable of designing, selecting the correct material and deciding on the manufacturing process of Tools, Dies, Jigs and Fixtures to a high degree of precision.The students are taught Computer Basics, AutoCAD, Creo, EDM Technology, CAD/CAM Technology, Basic Electronics, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Quality Control, Manufacturing Technology and Workshop Calculation, Engineering Drawing / Tool Design Drawing, Automation Technology and Management Principles.They get vast practical exposure in Turning, Milling, Grinding, all types of Bench work, Forging, Welding, Lapping, Scraping, CNC Machining and Manufacturing of Press tools, Plastic Moulds, Die-Casting tools, Jigs and Fixtures.
Diploma in Mechatronics (DiMT)
Duration: 3 years of study and 1 year of Industrial Training
Detail: Mechatronics, as a word, represents a combination of “mecha” from Mechanisms and “tronics” from Electronics.Mechatronics is the synergetic integration of mechanical engineering with electronic and intelligent computer control in the design and manufacturing of industrial products and processes.Mechatronics students study a range of disciplines. They are well equipped to go into a wide range of Jobs in electrical, electronics, mechanical or control engineering as well as software development and Management positions.
Diploma in Precision Machining Technology
This course is affiliated to NCVT, Govt. of India
Duration: 2 years of study and 1 year of Industrial training.
Detail: Close toleranced parts are necessary for all engineering applications. As such, the requirement calls for skilled machinist with knowledge of modern quality systems and precise manufacturing techniques using highly sophisticated machines and tools. This course is deviced in such a way that each trainee gets ample opportunity to see, learn and practice the trade with relevant theory.
The students are taught Computer Basics, AutoCAD, CAD / CAM Technology (Keller -Germany), EDM Technology, Quality Control, Basic Electronics, Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Manufacturing Process, Workshop Calculation and Engineering Drawing. They get vast practical exposure in Turning, Milling, Grinding, All types of Bench work, Forging, Welding, Lapping, Scraping and CNC programing and machining. They are be capable of programming, machining and manufacturing of components well within the lead time planned. This will be a well disciplined and rigorous training program.
