In 1946, Late Sri G.D. Naidu, an industrialist and illustrious son of South India, started an Industrials Labour Welfare Association (ILWA) to give more practical oriented training for technical students, presently knowns as G.D. Naidu Charities (GDNC).
Son of this towering personality, Sri G.D. Gopal is the present Managing Trustee of GDNC. He is second to none in encouraging young minds to mould themselves into good engineers and industrialists. To give an opportunity to the competent engineers of tomorrow to discover the hidden treasures in Tool and Die Engineering and its wider applications, GDNC started Gedee Technical Training Institute (GTTI) in July 2002. Now GTTI offers various courses such as
Diploma in Tool and Die Engineering (TDE), Post Diploma in Tool Design (PDTD), Diploma in Precision Machining Technology (PMT), Diploma in Mechatronics (MCT), Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics and Automation Technology (ADMAT) and various courses on Welding, based on German.
and Swiss educational pattern.
