Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BEd in Garhbeta College Candidates should pass Bachelor's Degree or Master Degree exam with at least 50%, For SC/ST/PH Category minimum marsk should be obtained 45% in the subjects (Bengali, English, History, Sanskrit, Geography, Mathematics, Life Science, Physical Science, Work Education and Education) taught in the college are eligible. Fresher Candidates must be within 38 years of age as in June of the admission year. B.E./B.Tech candidates may also apply, but they must have at least 55% marks (for SC/ST/PH category 50% marks) with specialization in Science and Mathematics. They will be treated as science stream and Hons. Category. 50% of the total seats will be reserved for Deputed teachers and 50% for fresher’s. |

Students applying both for the Honours and General Courses must submit separate application form.
At the time of counseling/admission, a candidate must have to submit self attested copies of following documents.
1. Admit card of 10+2 or Equivalent Examination.
2. Marksheet of 10+2 or Equivalent Examination.
3. Marksheet of 10th or Equivalent Examination.
4. Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
5. SC/ST/PC/Minority Community certificate from the appropriate authority if applicable.
6. One stamp size photo signed by the student.
Student selected for admission shall have to produce original documents at the time of verification for admission.
