Selection Process

Admission to the UG program will be fully online based on Merit. 

Selection to the PG programs will be made strictly on the basis of merit on marks obtain in honours Paper.

As per order of the Govt. of West Bengal 60% of total seats in each subject will be reserved for the students of V.U & autonomous college(s) affiliated to Vidyasagar University and the rest 40% seats are open toall.

UG Admission Process

Candidates are required to apply in prescribed forms along with prospectus to be had from the office of the college in payment of fees to be notified before issue of the forms. The filled up forms supported by relevant documents must list will be prepared .

The list will be displayed on the College Notice Board and each and every selected candidate will have to be admitted within the stipulated date failing which his/ her candidature is liable to be cancelled.

Original copies are to be produced for verification, as and when necessary:

1. Attested Xerox copy of H.S (10+2) Admit Card.

2. Attested Xerox copy of H.S.(+2) Mark Sheet.

3. Original Copy OF Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.

4. Three recent Pass port size photographs duly signed by the applicant.

5. Monthly Income Certificate of parents from the appropriate authority (Pradhan Panchayet Samiti Sabhapati/B.D.O)

6. Attested Xerox copies of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Classes / Physically handicapped Certificates(Where applicable).

7. Migration Certificate in case of students coming from other boards/ university.
